Computer BSOD's after queuing up to versus

queue up for versus
finds a game
plays the audio for the drums as it loads you on
audio tear into static noise
screen resolution changes to something akin to 720 by 480 (whatever old crt monitor typical resolution used to be - it was that)
blue screen of death appears whilst audio buzzing in strange screen ratio.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

queue up for versus
finds a game
loads into game then BSOD with audio tear

cant really show a screenshot of what happened because it didnt accept any inputs whatsoever and it restarted itself fairly soon.

@samsung_ecobubble, sorry to hear this. Usually BSOD crashes indicate a deeper system level issue. I recommend trying possible solutions here:

ok, so from the link provided ive gone through them one by one.

  • Latest windows 10 patch
  • Latest Nvidia patch
  • ran windows file checker, operation successfully completed
  • anti-virus found nothing
  • no - overheating
  • not comfortable doing a bios update for a game.
  • followed instructions for BSOD specific but it just basically says do all of the same generic windows things as if ive changed anything which i havent

the game is working again but i think its related to the most recent update of which is disconnecting many players myself included. ill report back if anything happens again but so far it seems to just regularly disconnecting only
