Well, personally I’ve just started to post some meme material and the occasional Fartshart quality stamp. Which is offensive enough to be hidden by staff btw. X,D
The stamp of quality has been a Fatshark staple for years. You won’t get rid of it by trying to sweep it under the rug.
Everything’s been said, the feedback and criticism has been sent loud and clearly. And although it bears repeating, I’m burnt out on it. Jokes it is now. Oh and the occasional snark.
Maybe I have one more serious post in me. We’ll see.
Me too. I can feel it growing on me. I really don’t like repeating myself. Sure, maybe posting an idea in some random thread isn’t that smart, instead it should be its own thread, but I can’t be bothered with that - I’m too lazy. Anyways I really am getting burned out from posting in these community forums. Entire reason why I created an account is to give genuine feedback; but what’s the point if said feedback doesn’t get acknowledged or even replied to by the important people of said feedback is addressed to. I also do get disheartened when I see others get ignored too.
At this rate I’m only venting out my negative emotions. Which I’m kind of done with at this point since I’ve aired all my disappointment I had with Darktide and Fatshark. Thinking about just not logging in anymore.
We go by the third tide. I could still say that with vermintide 2. With what they’ve released now and everything they’ve gone back to… No, I’m so sorry. They have lost my confidence. And with this to fix the skins, emotes and “for the emperor” I already see what their priorities are.
I’ve had enough. That they fix the game as it should be for the €40 that I have paid. And if you can’t, good luck. When they do well what they have to do, they will be rewarded. They have already gotten a lot of fandom and support from the community. And his response has been this mediocre product below his previous titles.
Attempting to gaslight us on the weapons, and also not mentioning progression at all, and then showing just how laughably bad they intend their crafting to be… yeah. I think their ‘design intent’ is some truly awful crap that no one ever spent more than two seconds thinking about.
I don’t like evrything in this patch (mainly the phrasing about the weapons and the lake of balance announces) but I’m happy to see progress still rolling at a good pace. The game is fine as it is but it has so much potential.
I accept that flamethrowers do not count since they read “melee”. Although it sure is a ranged weapon and should count as one though.
But the Lasgun also does not count? Or is it simply buggy?
These missions are so horrible to fulfill.
Get us a tracker, so we can see progress live so we know whats working towards the goal and whats not…
Still then, without any notice on what an enemy is called, and german/english mixture throughout the game it just is unsatisfying.
Some guns work, some enemies count, sometimes it just wont count because its bugged.
This needs a deeper description and maybe a list or picture of the enemies required.
I.E. Show a picture of what enemy we need to kill here.
List the beasts that are counting towards the “kill X beasts” goal.
And most of all “fulfill X secondary goals on mission X” well… that missions name is nowhere to be found for me. Just cant do that as well.
I can’t fathom a sound reason why the design decision was to discard all the systems that worked well in Vermintide 2 (crafting, gear progression, shared gear and currency) to start from scratch with objectively inferior systems. Your core gameplay loop is great, but that is pretty much directly ported from Vermintide 2. Why copy that but not the rest?
Step back from your “design intent” and think about what is fun and enjoyable. Your progression systems and complete lack of resource sharing is a bad choice.
Surprisingly the world doesn’t revolve around the US. Fatshark are a Swedish company admittingly they should be giving a rough time/zone it will be dropping, but normally we see updates at the end of day in GMT so around 18:00-19:00 if it turns up.
