Rumors say they’re still flipping a coin on whether or not to buff Scrier’s Gaze
Fatshark’s track record for announcing those major late-September updates is completely split… Here is how they handled the timeline for the last two years:

2024, Unlocked and Loaded: They gave plenty of notice, announcing the September 26 update a full month early on August 27. They spent the weeks leading up to release putting out dev blogs to explain the itemization overhaul and tease the new “Rolling Steel” mission

2025, Bound by Duty: This was a total stealth drop. Fatshark released the main trailer and officially announced the update on September 22, literally the day before the September 23 launch
They only did this because a bunch of stuff leaked and everyone rioted because the system they were proposing sucked and didn’t address people’s concerns, so they had to scramble to actually say something and counteract the bad press.
And now they try to keep as tight of a lid as possible so people spend money without knowing if the content is worthy of continuing investment.
Generally speaking yes. This has happened when they add new weapons before.
I think we’ve already had leaks of various weapons being added too.
“While in Scrier’s Gaze, your Soulblaze stack cap can exceed 60, and crits make you immune to all damage except barrels. Also staff attacks ignore object collision”
(*) Dev note: After some internal discussions we felt that making psyker being immune to all type of damage would be somewhat unbalanced.

Anytime we see one of the shops or on board ship locations have the downtime or something missing, we know it means things are being cooked and or added yes

It seems unlikely it’s next week, they just do four updates a year the range for the third quarter update is late September to early October. The earliest I’d expect it is next week.
