Does it lower the absolute amount of cdr that you get from feats though?

I am not sure how it works in Darktide, but in Vermintide 2, each source of x% ult cd reduction would simply fill in x% of the overall ult bar.
If you have a constant 20% cdr from a passive (in V2), your ult just starts with 20% charge after being used. When ever you get a cdr from a feat, your bar just fills by the % that the feat is supposed to give you. So all sources of cdr always give you the same value there.

I never tested this in Darktide and it might be pretty hard to tell, since the cdr bonuses from curios are so small.

Ye. I used a mod to get two decimal places on my cooldown timer for a bit more accuracy.

Without any CDR, here’s the frame right before the cooldown jumps.

And here’s the frame right afterwards.

18.64 - 14.12 is 4.52, which is approximately 15% of 30 seconds. So good so far.

With 11% Combat Ability Regen (the curio perk stacks additively so the individual quantities don’t matter), my initial cooldown will be 26.7 seconds instead.

24.84 - 20.82 is 4.02, which is 13.4% of 30 seconds. However, it is approximately 15% of 26.7 seconds.

So, as far as I can tell, Combat Ability Regen on curios reduces the flat cooldown that you receive from Psykinetic’s Aura. I haven’t tested with Ogryn since I don’t have an Ogryn character.

I was curious since a discussion about Psykinetic’s Aura and Combat Ability Regen% popped up in the discord, and I wanted to know since I was stacking ability regen on my curios at the time. I was so goddamn sad when I found out that it reduced the flat effectiveness of Psykinetic’s Aura.

Yeah any reasonable person would assume such a thing, I agree.

Then again any reasonable person would’ve implemented VT2s crafting instead of whatever we got in DT but yeah…
