Closing the game freezes my steam and task manager which also leads to freezing my pc

Need urgent help with this. I love the game and it really sucks that this always happens everytime I close the game. I’ve been having this problem since last year and is the only reason why I stopped playing the game. It also happens when i closed the Darktide closed beta. Please need help.

What i have tried:
Reinstalling the game
Reinstalling steam
Clearing steam download and browser cache
Updated all drivers and OS

Specs:
GTX 1650
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
16gb ram (2x 8gb)

This is really odd! Is it only Vermintide 2 and Darktide that do this?
