Cataclysm enemy HP levels should be also used at legend and here's why

I don’t disagree on principle, but I don’t have a stake in keeping HP high, for that you’ll have to wait for a Cata player who enjoys it’s current iteration and reads your opening post differently than I, because for me your statement suggest putting Legend hp values on Cataclysm level.

Yes. Boosting HP is the worst possible way to increase difficulty. It seriously impairs the feeling of power we all love. F.e. 1-shotting CW with a headshot from charged pickaxe was extremy cool. With added HP it would mean (pre patch, don’t know how it works right now,) that he simply gets staggered, yeah, cool, but nowhere near as fun. Damage sponges are not fun.

Cata doesn’t need more HP (for normal enemies, bosses may have it) or less cleave and stagger. All cata needs is right amount of difficult enemies. Replace some fanatics with marauders, some marauders with maulers and berserkers and it gets extremely difficult without even increasing the number of enemies or damage they deal.
