Cannot Join Friends game | They can't join me

Having friends trying to join me and get a “connection timeout” error and when I try to join one of my friends I also get the same error.

The way that we resolved this was that I would host a public quickplay and then for him to do a lobby browser search for my name.

  • was not able to join friend using steam invite(vice versa)
  • Got “Connection Timeout”
  • Was able to fix using QP
