Can Zealot nades get some love?

Hive Scum Blitzes are insane. I viewed Ogryn Frag Bomb as problematic, especially before Havoc, but outside maelstrom you got only one nade. Hive Scum Boom Bringer and Chem nades are just silly. Even in havoc. Can you see that clump of elites? I cannot be bothered to deal with them. Press X to win.

And it doesn’t even reliable kill crushers, that has always annoyed me.

Let us not forget it was the whole reason why Demolition Team was “updated” to only apply to the veteran.

Go figure that one of the original talents (as in pre-13) for group-support builds would be nerfed then when the reason is obsolete it stays ignored. I’m getting serious flashbacks to the days of EQ and “blah blah too strong oh here mr new fotm have this”.

I have to admit I still miss old demo team. With Hive Scum blitz how they are though there is probably no going back. It’s ironically more of a problem than Ogryn frag, since that could potentially be balanced by making demo team restore a % of your grenade total rather than 1 nade. EG at 25% grenade refill you need 4 procs for the Ogryn to get a frag back. But with Hive Scum nades having both high power and capacity I don’t know how you could make team nade regen vaguely ok.

Personally I wish most blitz were more around stun and immolation power levels and we were given more ways to get them back. Individual regen conditions or more options like old demo team. Not a fan of blitz being a solve all rather than a helpful tool for specific enemy types/scenarios. Current balance leads to this scenario where you can just feed all the nades to hive Scum then they can just solve an unreasonable amount of difficulty spikes with a button press.

Hmmm. Perhaps Fatshark could have the AI director spam more rotten armor carapace enemies as a counter to chem grenade
