Can we have more kickass music like this in the game?

I realize that there aren’t many moments that call for it.

I also like the music at the end of the trailer where the chaos demon shows up in the dark. Not sure what it’s called, but it goes pretty hard:
(Video saved at correct time stamp for reference)

But I love the vocals in mid track when you’re fighting the boss (when he was a tough opponent). That sense of desperation, finality, the “It all comes down to this” moment. You’ve done a great job at capturing that fatshark.

The best selling point for me on enjoying a movie or game if the plot is lackluster is a great soundtrack, and you guys nail it. Everytime.

(Can music cause ASMR? Yes, yes it can; it’s called musical frission. And these tracks trigger that for me.)

I can’t listen atm unfortunately so not sure which exactly it is.

The music that really puts my hairs on end though, other than the organ music in the mourning star, is the horde music in the hourglass. It has chimes or bells or something and reminds me of Secret Of Mana. It’s awesome :ok_hand:

The track that plays at the end in the Trailer is “Immortal Imperium”

The variety in the soundtrack is what makes it banger. Disposal Unit and Empires Will Fall are great for special bosses, because you are beating on traitors the worst and most contemptible of all heretics. But my favorite general theme for fighting bosses is still Embrace of the Chaos Cult. I’m pretty sure it plays when you fight monstrosities in a couple habs, not just Hourglass.

Nothing will ever beat Killing Floor 1 music.

Bring back great memories.

There are two albums worth on spotify, if you have an account: https://open.spotify.com/album/3Ie6KjbPXKiCTFiEAxNBO0

For all the various frustrations, it is a very good game.
Music is amazing. Visuals too.

Clearly you have not listened to Empires Will Fall or the new Derelict Research. Friggin incredible boss themes. The twins’ boss theme especially really makes the fight FEEL important and final.

I hope Jesper Kyd knows he SLEW it with this OST. It fits perfectly with the medieval sci-fi theme the Imperium has going on. I’ve been binging the 3rd Strike OST lately but Darktide is on another level.
