Can we browse weapons by type pls

A lot of weapons in inventory and grinding in this game is not easy
its so annoying having to scroll all the way to find what you want
Each weapon type should be in a folder maybe something like this

I will be the one to say, if you are on PC, there are mods for it.

You can both make each row display more weapons, sort weapons alphabetically (so weapons of the same type will all be grouped together), and also type search for weapons.

I don’t have links to the mods atm. If you are interested I could hunt them down.

Either way would be nice to get stuff like this implemented.

Yeah we could definitely use some bare minimum QoL tools for this. But things being what they are, I recommend you develop your own system.

I’ve played like a madwoman since release and over a year ago started buying & saving every decent gear from stores & missions, even the ones with bad blessings or perks, for upgrading later or in case future balance changes made the useless perks & blessings worthwhile. So I have a massive catalogue of items on all characters.

Idk if and how XBOX differs from PC here, but as a PC gamer here’s some tips on what I do (hopefully it helps):

• I only use 2 sorting orders: Alphabetic (ascending), or rating (descending)
• I use alphabetic when I’m looking to use or change/craft a specific weapon type
• I use rating as the “quick access” for the strongest stuff I have. I also have a notepad file for the exceptions for each class, weapons that have a low rating but are by far my favorites (like T2-3 exclusive blessings, which give the weapon a poor rating despite being super strong). But after a while I rarely use the notes since I quickly remember the few worth even putting there.
• Finally I use specific skins to group weapons of the same family: 1) my favorite weapons use my favorite skin, 2) the middling weapons I sometimes use have another skin, and 3) the ones I don’t use or haven’t upgraded yet use the default skin. So if I’m viewing 20 Voidstrikes, I can tell at a glance which ones I’m looking for.
• Otherwise obviously I keep the inventory clean by viewing and selling bad items instantly when I get them, so every item I have stored is there for a reason

Since rating > alphabetic is always 4 clicks, and alphabetic > rating is 2, it’s relatively easy to switch between the two and I always know how and what to look for like that so it’s easy to scroll there fast. Tbh I’d love a mod that just let me choose 2 sorting orders, nvm listed weapons by type > mark > rating instead for example.

Also, there is probably a better chance of a dev seeing this if you change this from the general discussion section to the gameplay feedback section.

But yes hopefully qol stuff gets focused down for Xbox players and people who dont want to mod

On inventory management of weapons… How do you feel about crafting? I mean, something must be wrong to have so many copies of the same weapon… Right?

I have like 400 weapons on each character since I stopped bothering to look at new ones I get since they’re usually trash anyway. I installed a mod that lets me favorite mark the weps I actually use with a star, and I just scroll to the stars.
