I’d say this is game design at its finest. A peak if I might say in quite the exquisite & meaningful gameplay mechanics that are at play here.
I’ve had instances where I AM able to push blessed dogs just fine…I hear the sound que and everything for the dog getting pushed aaannnd nothing. I don’t know what up with the burster tho…
(Green dog is green dog, so the push probably went through before the stagger resist got deactivated. As for the Poxburster…I’ll just call it Power Sword tax.)
The Dog looks like a ping issue. I play on murica servers with over 250+ ping and I’ve learned to push the dogs before they jump. Also… I understand that you shouldn’t be able to push around enemies with Nurgle blessing. So I would say that it was luck if that worked for you at some point, and you not being able to push it is the intended behavior.
The pox burster was killed by the psyker it seems. I’ve had instances where someone makes the burster explode but it doesn’t show on the log
It almost looks like assail screwed that poxburster for you. Like you do get some type of hitmarkers right before the assail hits it so
As for the green dog … well green dog.
Poxburster: you weren’t near enough to push it and it then jumped while out of your push range. Once it hits a certain point, you can’t push it… a bit like basketball, where you can block to a certain point, but after that it’s goal tending.
I’ve a thread somewhere in the archives with about 10 of these, so you have my sympathies and understanding!
Not gonna ‘dog pile’ and such but will say if you look very closely, you will see that you did in fact push the poxburster/it was heading backward after it’s lung (for as Jon pointed out once it starts the lung you can’t push it away until it finishes), but, as stated the Assail from the Psyker hit it as it was falling back and sent you to meet the emperor.
