You can now select the HIVE SCUM class in the Darktide Build Editor. We added the full skill tree, stimm lab and new weapons for the class. We also added the Hive Scum Overview Page.
Thanks to Fatshark for providing us with early access so we could get this update out so soon!
Appreciate your work, as always! However I am having an issue on the mobile browser version where all the tooltip boxes are cut off and hanging on the left side of the screen.
Edit - it works when I rotate the screen, just not when it is vertical.
will obviously have to see it in action but it seems reasonable. pretty cool talents like not getting melee’d while sliding (take that, 10x longer hitbox when positioned 180 degrees from your viewpoint!) and a version of ‘Killing Blow’ from Vermintide. but I can already dislike the design choice to make a passive node for buffing stim duration and then putting it on the left side instead of the right where the stim build is located otherwise. I thought we were trying to avoid things like that
This talent tree is giving launch-day Sister of the Thorn vibes… Although his base health and toughness aren’t terribly high, there are some crazy talents to make up for it
but they have even more mobility than anything seen in the game so far, almost seems dumb to have 3 stamina on top of the doubled stamina regen rate and psyker/arbites regen delay. also took vet’s 10% crit chance like I assumed they would. and zealot’s unique combo of 5.2 sprint speed and 0.75x stamina sprint is no longer theirs, they will legit be left in the dust by gangers in terms of out-pacing the team. da frick fatshark, that’s basically all they do right now.
Hive scum also has some good support potential… for those who like this kind of playstyle.
Stimm supply with a custom stimm on hand => 15 seconds of 50% CDR, +12% Strength, 12% attack speed, 8% DMR… For the whole team, just gotta walk in the puddle once. And that’s just me screwing around for 10 min in the builder.
It’s not gold toughness but goddamn ! Welcome back Ranger Veteran.
Edit : after more consideration, 50% CDR is probably better overall than more Strength and Crit
Edit 2 : I saw on Mister E’s video that the Stimm supply goes on cooldown when it disappears (after 5 sec with these nodes), meaning that you get 10 whole seconds of +50% CDR, making the Stimm supply ability essentially on a 45 sec cooldown instead. On its own. Crazy.
+15 %Melee damage on 1st hit with each attack (always active)
Melee hits replenish 4% toughness critical strikes and weakspot strikes 8%, critical weakpoint 12%
Perfect Block (or Dodge) gains +20% crit rate for 3 seconds
Sprinting reduces threat @ 12% per 1 second sprint up to 4 stacks (what the heck lmao)
+25 toughness
A Missile Launcher
+10% ranged damage and +10% damage reduction
immunity to melee atacks while sliding (WHAT)
+25% dodge distance and +50% ‘time while dodging’
+40% dodge recovery speed while Stamina > 75%
+10% melee damage for yourself and the entire time while in coherency +50% melee power, +20% attack speed, +25% damage reduction, stun and suppression immunity while in rage, rage gains duration the more you hit people
+5% crit
+10% melee damage
+2% melee attack speed for each Stamina
Crits auto-kill Human enemies if their current health is below 200% of the critical strike’s damage
+25% weakspot damage
+15% Elite and Monstrosity damage
+10% melee cleave on kill for 5 seconds stacking 5 times
Kills grant +25% of the difference between your attack and the health of the killed Enemy as melee damage for 1s (so you get bonuses for doing overkill damage)
20% damage reduction depending on stamina, also up to 20% melee damage depending on spent Stamina
Hitting enemies triggers Fury at 30 stacks, then you get 10% attack Speed and +25% melee damage for 20 seconds + restore 5% toughness per second
Here, and I have just checked the build editor to create something I will test as soon as I can, you will run into enemies, deliver a wall of bullet, reloading all the time…
Serioulsy not the same gameplay as veteran…
I hope that players will understand how it works… and that the ones that take that could stop picking ammo (and so the aura about ammo is just… a waste of point if you ask me)
Gameplays of this class is clearly different than veteran AND zealot.
This is more visceral, fast… and I suspect that you could also be a sort of paper hero
