Build Editor updated with Hive Scum Class

Did you really see an interest in the two other branches since the last update?
What I read in the Scum talent tree is a more visceral gameplay… one where you could end alone a lot of times…

No, and that’s the issue.

They gave what we wanted for Zealot to Scum instead.

Same as for all the begging of making Vet better at ranged. They just gave those ideas to Scum.

Scummy behaviour, just like locking dual wield, also been asked for for years, behind the same paywall.

What’s original here? Another dot which takes down carapace?

I can understand why people wanna play it, but I can’t understand how anyone would defend this practice.

Pickpocket don’t have cooldowns while Survivalist deal with 5s though, and I’ve seen Hive Scums shot to everything and still with ammo unlike Veterans.

Hmmm… you may not have checked the talent tree

You have multiple way to have free ammos:

and the famous

Also… the dual pistols come with plenty of bullets… and that’s exactly what was needed for the class.

However, think to it… I think the talent is balanced. You will have a flat limit of 20% ammos… that’s really low

This is exactly the game play… a rain of bullets. I don’t see something wrong here.

So this proves that Hive Scum have more ways to get ammo than Veteran actually.

The build I have just used right now permitted me to play ranged from the start to the end. And shooting all along…

Shame they are garbage, bullets wasted on them even when they are infinite.

I really love them

Exactly. Sadly.

I’m about level 15 ATM and maxed out all the unlocked weapons so far and I’m struggling to find anything that feels really good.

The bone saw sounds so good on paper but it feels very clumsy. Despite having loads of cleave buffs etc it still feels like it jams into whatever it hits. The attack patterns don’t feel great either. The difference between the topdown strike and the wide strike are very difficult to differentiate from each other when in the action.

The pistols feel ok. But you end up doing more reloading than killing.

The ganger is more fragile than humpty Dumpty. I like to get in to the action and kite/dodge whilst slashing but I find I’m getting hit a lot and I can’t work out why. Stamina is high, dodge counter is not empty…but melee weapons feel really weak sauce. Nothing feels very powerful.

Is anyone else feeling that or is it just me? What melee weapons are you using if they feel good?

Crowbar feels good to me for both melee and ranged build. Make sure to put superiority to it, as for second blessing I still haven’t decided for final one.

Uzis better than pistols, I got way better results with them.

Interesting thanks. I might go back to the crowbar. Kinda wish the special button was just a quick instant attack with the pointy bit instead of switching stances before attacking again. Having to press 2 buttons to hit an armoured enemy is a bit jarring imo. Guess I just need to get used to it.

And the uzis suck at long distance stuff. I really hate having close range guns as I prefer melee for all stuff close and ranged for stuff that’s…well, ranged! The revolver felt good so maybe I could go back to that.
