The grenade is too niche even when properly used. It doesn’t synergize with anything and when used at lower levels of play, actively hurts the team. I have a simple fix that will make it not only work better at lower levels, but give it more viability at high level. You simply have it highlight el…

Smokes Grenade are less in need of a buff and more in need of a relevance boost outside of Havoc. Auric Ranged Enemies should have The Emperor’s Fading Light Modifier inherently. This would make Auric Ranged Enemies a bigger threat to Players, thus prompting Smoke Grenades to become relevant in bo…

[image] Palumtra: Smoke nade is literally psyker bubble with a duration instead of durability Aside from affecting all ranged enemies other than Bombers, it can even make Pox Hounds almost never pounce on players within the smoke.

[image] Djaresh: Normal spot maybe but it would be very overkill with Focus Target! considering it can refill a ton of thoughness for the whole team on kill. It would be nice to see more people take it instead of krak. Normal highlighting would still be an improvement, but keystone synergy wo…

Why on Earth would you need to buff what is arguably the strongest blitz in the game? The only one that comes even close to the level of impact smonks have on a game is smite, which is just disgusting in its own right. There’s zero reason to buff smokes at all.

Yeah smoke grenades just are in a weird spot where outside of Havoc they’re kind of useless while in Havoc they are insanely good. [image] Khorne_Dawg: Auric Ranged Enemies should have The Emperor’s Fading Light Modifier inherently. Buffing the ranged enemies would be a good idea for Auric, …

[image] Gideon404: They already buffed visibility. And yet it’s still markedly worse for visibility than the psyker bubble, as I said.

I mean, that’s kind of the point of a smoke grenade to block vision. It’s already pretty generously how good you can see through it. Any further reduction would completely break the immersion.

[image] palarious: The grenade is too niche even when properly used. There’s plenty of use cases for it that make any strike team’s jobs easier: disrupting shooter/gunner sightlines making trappers and flamers have to engage closer in order to disrupt players making poxhounds not capable of…
