While I’ve seen this happen because they are blind to the patrols existence, this time was the first time I’ve seen a bot intentionally run straight towards a patrol to attack it before it’s agro’d.

I suspect this relates to the usual “stuck ult” and the patrol just happened to be a valid target to unstuck himself.
But…
Ults shouldn’t get stuck.
Bots shouldn’t agro patrols, valid ult target or not.
