Bolters should have increased cleave so that point blank hits pierce targets

The latest patch changed the bolter mechanics to match the new pistol. They added a minimum range to the bolt fuse and point blank bolter hits no longer explode. This breaks the immersion somewhat, realistically speaking unexploded bolter rounds should overpenetrate most humanoids to a comical degree.

Hence I strongly suggest that bolter rounds that hit targets at point blank range should have their cleave increased so that the bolt has the chance to strike a second target and explode (or hit terrain and explode). Being able to pierce one typical target and hit another would give it equal cleave to the zarona revolver, which makes sense to me.

Note that this only applies to point blank hits, if you hit a target with a bolt at sufficient range it will always explode and thus, never cleave the target.

a blessing will come for that… that’s the reason of the change.
But they should not have implemented this before the crafting update.

(check games lantern - that’s here for several months…)
