What the hell, you seem to be having very bad luck if that’s the case.
However when it comes to medipacks and ammo crates I actually encounter that too. But I think it’s an easy thing to forget in the heat of the moment. I know I’ve forgotten I have it at times. And I think players in general suffer from the this “Saving items until a better use, so you never use it”. It’s very common in RPGs for example.
Mix that with the worry that if you place it at the wrong time people will blast you for it…
So the medipack / ammo usage is sort of a gaming community created problem in part.
I was speaking more about game periods (release of a game, beta and so on), but still a stange different experience. Even asked my friends, half said, that they have no such problems, other hald that they have the same. It is especially funny, when they play together, and if they find a “block list candidate” they all agree, that he should be blocked, so it’s not about difference of thinking.
Oh, a good point, thought about reasons, but still, they can place a banner, that “It can harm your experience because of matchmaking problems”, and it will be a problem of individuals that their game searches longer. A sort of a price for personal comfort. And as I see from people, who answer this topic, there is not much people, who have same problem, so it really will be a problem of individuals.
Only ideas, there is truly a reason for this limit, but I would like, if they allow to choose, as I mentioned above.
Yep, but to say the truth, for me a pack, placed in the wrong place is better that no placed at all. It was more about people, who don’t even react on ask for an ammo or healing, either by command or directly in a chat. I really try to define, if a person do something on purpose, or mistakenly.
Still, this situation supports 2 ideas: I have to be more patient and loyal, and I am really unlucky
Discord… why the xyz so many people want to use discords for game’s next step you gonna use FB likes or alike then you will start doing selfies & last you will be doing real shopping in game shops… like dunno food or alike…
Hate games that tend to implicate players to band on non game platforms to play “the game”.
The thing is if the game is bad you dont have big player base & you lack good teammates… it’s not the players fault it’s totally on game side & dev side that they screwed up like that.
On some point the game will just be like DRG or V1,V2 where only the most patient ones stayed because they liked the game or you will have those one in a week gamers that fell like bots+.
Good thing there are a lot of games coming all the time…when one is like ohh i dont feel to play it anymore you can just jump to another.
Personally will b playing DT for some time but if it don’t get better in like half a year I will not bother & just will uninstal & be a little sad then. There will be a lot of good games then to chose like SoD3 , maybe nev Horizon or anything else…
Hahaha that’s actually hilarious. I have only blocked 1 person and that’s because they were playing music through VOIP.
For salt monsters, I usually just make fun of them in voice. Note: I never ever flame bad players, or people who make mistakes. If they are self aware enough to apologize I say “all good bud” or “keep playing <heresy/damnation>, its the only way to get better”. They have the right mindset for the game and improving, because sh^t happens, everyone makes mistakes, and mistakes are punishing in this game.
It’s the ones who are bad, and THEN decide that it’s everyone else’s fault that I tease. Honestly though, ZERO toxicity in Damnation, and it’s relatively rare in Heresy.
I keep doing that as well, i just forget i have it on me, or i just figure “Well, i can survive this, so obviously my team mates should as well” and just hold on to that medkit like i need it to breathe.
I’m all for better gaming through blocking morons and trolls. I think most people playing DT mean well, so I don’t block people for just doing badly, but if they’re exceptionally obtuse towards cooperation I’ll block them. Mostly I only block trolls though.
My favorite games are the ones where im playing with complete idiots who dont know how to play (game is too easy with competent players) but i dont get many because i only play damnation. The fact that you block so many people shows how bad you are at this game. Your just relying on your teamates to do good to clear maps. If you could rely on yourself to do anything you wouldnt care how bad your team was.
I do agree the toxicity of this community is starting to get to me and as there better games out there.
Also Kinda ruin Christmas the season of Hope, Love, Peace & Joy. Where FF14 community is the complete opposite and embraces the Christmas spirit. Too bad I can’t be at two places celebrating with my family and friends while at FF14 at the same time.

Also bloking poeple you dont like is a waste of time tbh.
System of match making hardly make a difference also if you remove the limit there is a chance on hight dif you end up alone and leave the game winning.
I almost never end up with the same poeple.
This is still clearly an issue. Just hit block cap myself and the cap being only like 50 max is uh, kinda dumb.
There’s a ton of just overly toxic try-hards that like to blame their team mates for things that just happens due to the huge hordes at the top difficulty setting, or for their own ineptitude.
Like one match had a guy who was constantly falling waaaaaay behind the group and would agro all kinds of additional trash and wouldn’t stop swearing and blaming us, even though we were going along through the mission just fine without him basically.
