Black screen after launching the game in lobby

I was playing the game week or two ago with no problems, but after the update started getting this black screen when I try to choose the character, screen is black in matches too. Looked at other posts and tried to fix it myself but nothing helps.

Sorry to hear this.

Firstly, please try reinstalling your GPU drivers:

Failing this, please try removing the ‘Fatshark’ %appdata% folder (please note, by doing this your custom game settings, keybinds etc. will be reset):

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Delete the ‘Fatshark’ folder
  4. Launch Vermintide 2
