After loading in and going into a lobby, the screen turns black with the shield icon duplicating?

I have reinstalled the game, updated my windows and steam verified the files, yet the game still appears to be broken. Every time I load into the starting lobby, I am faced with a black screen but the shield icon duplicates and follows your cursor (in-game).

Hi @Shaq, please try a clean reinstallation of Vermintide 2, which involves deleting your AppData (please note any custom settings e.g. graphics, keybinds etc. will be reset):

It is really sad I was not able to participate in the Double XP Event. I hope Vermintide 2 gets another Double XP Event, now that my game works again.
