I feel like some of these buffs kinda missed the point.
Yeah cool, EXE stance gets more duration, but the duration was never the issue.
Infantry lasguns gets more ammo, but ammo was never really the issue for the lasguns.
Zealot buffs, maybe someone with more knowledge about the game can make the buffs sound good, but to me personally, it looked miniscule and changes literally nothing when it comes to talent prioritization unless im going for some VERY specific builds/loadouts.
Zealot blitzes being left untouched is kinda baffling.
Its not all bad though, some interesting stuff as well in here thats gonna be fun to test out, but i was kinda expecting the first big update of the year to have a bit more meat on it.
Let’s see if the time wasted on a new game mode will bring us something valuable.
But I hope that players will stop complaining about people that leave missions…
I use missions like test time. I would play solo for tests, if there was solo…but there is none. So, when I finish testing, I leave the mission. I fall because of the build, I leave the mission and adjust the build. I fall on floor and think the team is bad, I leave. etc.
this kinda not the most hyped update btw, not many people hyped, cause everyone saw how expeditions are, i saw more hype for the next upcoming class than this update itself
you gotta start accept the reality, if they were going to do it, they would done it time ago, it won’t ever be a thing solo mode, since you need 2 players to start a private session for some reasons, but you can ask for a friend to join for then leaving right away, so ask yourself why they simply dont do it
The reason is a number that is set on 2 in the code. I have seen it.
And I will keep asking it until they say that they lied to their customers and made promises that they had no intention to fulfill
I could also use many more tries… but that’s not what I ask. Especially now that I have discovered that mods can make Darktide crashing on Linux and even if they work perfectly on WinCrap.
Sure… while I think open space are not a bad idea, I am not sure about the expedition concept. But I will play before being critical. Maybe that’s good.
But, I don’t feel the need of a 3rd game mode. I hated Havoc, was not impressed by mortis trial due to all these buffs that make no sense at all.. let’s see if the third game mode can bring something interesting for me.
since this is a PvE games buffs are always good even if not something big or to you directly down the line its good becuse you might use that ability or whatever in 2+ years and it’ll be handy, so buffs are always good even seemingly irrelevant ones, but whats not good are the nerfs, nerfs are unecessary in PvE game, we’re not competing against each other so we’re not wronging each other in anyway by having something more powerful if anything teamie being powerful means victory is easier for us which is always good, only competitive ppl really want nerfs and feel insecure when a teamie performs better to us players who play the game for whats it suppose to be which is to win we don’t have an issue if other class is more powerful, like why would i be mad my teamie is performing amazingly? his or hers win is win for all of us its also why i don’t mind cheaters in darktide i would never cheat myself but i don’t care if im in a match with one unless hes doing something to the team likeif hes gonna do some whacky stuff that’ll get me a win im all in for it, this is a co op game not a pvp game, you should encourage others performing better not try to nerf them
it was never promised, it was requested so much til to the point a CM made a mistake with communication since it was never a priority for them doing a solo mode
as much as i want aquilas as event reward this is a good indicator of who plays the game for actualk fun and who for shiny rewards, i don’t need aquilas to enjoy games content do i want them? sure and i do think they should be more prominent but they’re also not a necessity to enjoy content, if you need whats essentially money in the game to enjoy its contents then that means you don’t truly enjoy it period, its like a job irl, why do most ppl have jobs? well to earn money very few people enjoy work and many downright hate it but they will do it for money and to survive, you want to play for exact same reason you don’t actually enjoy the game.
So a different thing. I am sorry, but they said CLEARLY that solo game mode was coming for December. Like they said the same for crafting (do you remember the “COMING SOON” when visiting Hadron?). I have understood that crafting was more important than solo game mode, and that was normal, but this promise has never been answered.
As I said, they should stop hiding and come to talk to the community.
Besides, it’s not a lie if it’s not proven - what had been said back then stopped being true at some point, due to either lack of responsibility, or the answer being something you don’t want to convey to community at large. A lie is a lie only if it’s in relation to something that is true, and the truth wasn’t revealed.
it is not a promise, was a plan which can simply be discarded/scrapped cause you know, not a priority anymore, it is that simple, solo mode will never be a thing in darktide, until maybe in its final stages of lifespan most likely, where they may put hopefully peer to peer, since in the blog it talks about that essentially
we will be able to play a solo game mode… this is not here
they will release it in December 2022… and that has not happened
Well facts are here… so I can say thy lied. Unless they release a solo game mode… something that should not difficult to do considering all these game modes they release and the fact there are mods (with bugs) that already do half of the job.
So when someone in a pre order says that you will be able to get this feature, you don’t consider that as a promise?
This was stated that we would be able to play solo.
Not that they were thinking about it.
i remember also another “coming soon” still like this in the official launcher of vt1 as per today, despite mods being a thing in vt1, they simply never worked to integrate mods as official feature
so why u going think it will be any different with solo mode
