When the beast of Nurgle is screaming it would be fun engaging gameplay if you could throw a grenade down its gullet.

Aboslutely agree.
Wild dream: finishing animations (glory kills) like in DOOM?
Special animations to finish off elite/specials, integrated in the melee animation loops?
Special voice lines when finishing off some specials/elites in certain ways (see overwatch lines for specific kills)
Some great opportunities here
