Auric and even Damnation seems to be more brutal than normal after the “fix”.
no it’s too easy
It’s the Specialist/Elite spam, broken inconsistent audio cues during high intensity engagements.
Yeah when your builds are solid and the sound cues are actually working. The individual Elites are a joke, it’s the clown car responses usually followed by silent Specs that turn Auric into an inconsistent mess.
which, for those of us not bothering with havoc yet still seek a challenge that’s being solo-able if need be, is a good thing since the gap between auric maelstrom and havoc 40 is huge for different reasons.
the problem results from the engines limitations not the enemy entities themselves, having for example 3 trappers stuck in each other and you hear only an echo thinking it’s 2.
then out of the bloody pulp comes flying a net that would have otherwise been easily avoidable.
and usually being “frontfeuerwehr” doing x things at breakneck speed by myself, cause randoms aren’t up to snuff most of the time, i can’t be arsed putting my ear on the train tracks for too long checking bugged sounds.
so in games like doom eternal you got an almost equal stress level of creating take-out priority lists in terms of who has to die first but the game never fails telling you what’s on the menu.
that’s the current issue in my opinion
Exactly right. That’s why this thread continues to stay at the top of the Darktide discussion board:
