Is this a bug? There were certainly some difficult moments still, but the final literally had less enemies than a normal damnation run. We completed the objective and left within roughly 4 minutes, no downs, didn’t even need to use my ranged weapon. Only a couple Pox Bursters spawned along with a few small hordes and that was it.
The Maelstrom in question was “Power Matrix HL-17-36” “Maelstrom Mission I-III” “Waves of Specialist Enemies. Hunting grounds.”
Honestly no idea if the naming of these mean anything but I’m writing them just in case.
There seems to be map changes also, which aren’t included in the patch notes. Some of these changes give alternative routes, making these maelstroms easier. I don’t mind them messing with the difficulty, as long as we get something harder in the upcoming patch. I only had trouble with a few of the old auric maelstroms, mainly the ones that limited vision and included awkwardly placed demon hosts. But with the changes to gunner pushback, and demon hosts only killing 1 player, add on top these unannounced changes to auric maelstroms, isn’t the game becoming too easy? I was fully expecting them to increase the difficulty, or to add an additional difficulty level.
Anyone else experiencing these changes? Are they bugs or does FS usually fail to write all of the changes in the patch notes?
