Are the old Vortex Mods broken after the latest update to darktide?

Issue Description:

I played the game shortly after it came out and later installed the vortex mods. I stopped playing for maybe six months or longer, and now after the update, the game is unplayable. It crashes when I try to tab out of the game. It crashes when I try to pull up steam overlay (with shift + tab). It crashes when trying to load the chat in the waiting screen for maps. Sometimes it crashes for seemingly no reason mid-game – averaging maybe three crashes per game. I suspect (but don’t know) that the old mods are crashing my game.

I deleted all my old game files, redownloaded, and reinstalled. I uninstalled Vortex before the reinstall. I did not delete my saved game data (\users\appdata\roaming\darktide ← that folder). But even after a fresh game install, it still crashes like crazy. I can’t even play the game!

Does anybody here have similar issues? Do the old mods (from like 6-9 months ago) break the newest version of the game?

If the mods are thze newest version, they dont pose a problem. Try veryfing your game files. Even if you unistalled the game, some remnants can remain that may cause problems.
Then update your mods if you havent done so already

I deleted my saved game information (found in the users\appdata\roaming\darktide ) and the old vortex folder, and it still crashes. I will try to verify integrity of game files through steam next. Thanks!
