Lol they’re using manstopper & scattershot. Finally a use case for combat shotgun on zealot and it’s without even using the gun itself

More unintentional Blessing synergy? As if bleed/burn Dots buffed by Uncanny wasn’t already enough. :man_shrugging:

My face when this “smart” community still thinks of bugs/exploits as intented gameplay features. Guess bleed from Dog’s shock or Uncunny Strike working on DoT or Rumbler destroying armor on both explosion and direct hit are features too.

2 years before Fatshark creates a competent QA team, 4 before they remove clearly unintentional Blessing interactions with the rest of your kit.

I really don’t know.
But clearly, this is not things I like. If I want to play only melee I would have picked VT2.
I want to play melee (because I really like it) AND ranged.

My main is the zealot. I have never been able to like the veteran’s keystones. This has restricted me to few builds (close to an unique build). As a result, Vet feel less and less interesting.

But I like also Ogryn ranged… and I love Arbites because this class is at middle of melee and ranged.

On the middle, yet somehow manages to outperform dedicated classes sometimes.

Crit-ranged arby is just something with Vrak autogun… Tho shotguns would be still better, but autogun is fun

I have a fun build with the Arbites that uses the infantry autogun and all move bonus.
The build is really fun.

But yes Arbites should get nerf on what is too strong. But it can be easily fixed.

When I melee I heal.. so yea melee is the best way to clear.

It only really bugs me when players shoot the one poxwalker left that heal for bigman, instead of whats actually hurting me, the gunners, yea… shouty needs to shooty the right target.

I can only figure the ones with their guns out are getting hit in melee and finding their nose to the floor wondering why there team isn’t helping them.

It’s more of problem Quickplay in terms of little or no synergy, why people choose high survival classes to be less dependent on each other. Well since everyone runs off in different directions for ammo, stims to grab first or speed run etc.

When a Vet is caught alone in horde under long pressure. Not much options to sustain against that pressure apart from short lived VoC, grenade and no mobility.

Almost could say you have better experience of playing Vet in Havoc where people do engage with synergy.

Exe stance instantly pulls out your ranged weapon. You can jump and shoot over bulwark shields. Yes you have to hit the head with the laser sniper weapon.

Also they buffed the pull-out time on the helbore. They didn’t change the animation at all (bug?) but you can now go into ADS or start hip firing long before the animation stops.

From the day 0 I played DT, I didn’t like gunplay in it at all. Even with vet who is supposed to be ranged-heavy class, it’s kinda shitty experience. And I don’t think it’s even specifically disincentivizied - it’s just certain design decisions of the game itself make it a boar. Like the fact you can’t just stop for freaking 5-10 seconds and shoot things, savoring the experience, during a wave - you are immideately will be attacked in melee by some random one-hit chaffers coming at you from all directions, from all those spawn points disguised as doors and holes. And you can’t ignore them even for 5 seconds and just keep shooting - they’ll shake your aim, and will down you in a couple hits, on higher difficulties. So you have to twitch-dodging all the time, while spasmatically trying to maintain your aim (and is expected to somehow hit heads while at it, or you’ll run out of ammo quickly). It’s incredibly crappy, unsatisfying, irritating experience. May be it’s bearable for some top percentage of good players, but for majority it’s just shite, no better word sorry.

May be it will be at least bearable with Infiltrate and subtalent that drops aggro for 10s, I’m planning to try it, out of curiosty. But then again, relying on a single build of a single class to just have fun shooting things - still shite.

Not sure what you’re talking about, mate. Infiltrate has sub-talent that drops agro on you by 90% for 10s after you exiting stealth. From how it looks like, it’s designed specifically to provide “sniper” kind of gameplay. You put stealth on, relocate, unstealth - and have 10s window when you can snipe things without being harassed.
