Are ranged playstyles getting disincentivized too much?

May be it will be at least bearable with Infiltrate and subtalent that drops aggro for 10s, I’m planning to try it, out of curiosty. But then again, relying on a single build of a single class to just have fun shooting things - still shite.

If you have a friend to play with, and they’re at least somewhat competent at staying alive, a taunt Ogryn enables you to shoot a ton. Especially if they go recharge instead of the normal damage. Honestly imo, paired with how strong Ogryn is at staying alive it’s too strong. I’ve played exe stance Havoc 40s with good taunt Ogryns and it feels like an Auric match sometimes.

Fair point, still it’s not option for most of players, most of games are played in PUGs. Neither your friend will always be happy to baby-sit you as an ogryn, or taunt ogryn specifically

Exe stance is great if you have teammates who are willing to babysit you and protect from all the crap the game throws at you. I wish I could use it for high level Havoc but sadly I don’t have a pre-made who is willing to play this game mode.
