Arbites Class paywall is double dipping

fair enough.

true, but in this case the cost if similar to Vermintide2 which wasnt criticized.
in this case the Arbites Class which is being described as having earnable Cosmetics.

we know the Arbites Class will be offered at $11.99 with such Character Cosmetics,
so the Comparison shouldnt be to the Base DLC Class option at 3.99 but to the bundle,

Why? because the Vermintide2 Base DLC Class doesnt have earnable Character Cosmetics.
only the Vermintide2 Class/Cosmetic Bundle($9.99) comes with Character Cosmetics.
so its $11.99 vs $9.99, or a 20% increase, not 3X increase.

agreed but thats why the Switch vs Switch2 comment is there.
as to explain that repackaging the same thing but making it cost more is an issue.
and should be spoke out against, this however isnt it.

you quoted me about talking about a Fair Comparison.
but then ignored my response, as well as the data i brought forth.

so as i said in my first post
well most Darktide skin sets cost $9.99 to $11.49, for a 3 piece set.
comparing them to Vermintide2, Skins cost $9.99, for a 2 piece set.
parts from ether will be about even with DT costing around 20% more.
so again not that different

Vermintide2 has 164 “free” cosmetics, these are mostly headwear, with 60 or so Torsos.
these are split between VT2s 20 classes, 4 Classes per each of the 5 Characters.

Darktide has 200 “free” cosmetics, these are mostly Torso & legs, with 32 or so headwear.
these are split between DTs 4 classes, not including starting Cosmetics.

i did not include weapon Cosmetics in this comparison.
but even so it seems that DT has nearly 35 more character cosmetic options.
so yes Darktide does have more free character cosmetic options.

already mentioned this above,
only if you look at the Base DLC Class with no Cosmetics which costs $3.99,
and we know the Arbites Class with come with Cosmetics for the Dog, Character, & weapons.

only the Vermintide2 Class/Cosmetic Bundle($9.99) comes with Character Cosmetics.
so its $11.99 vs $9.99, or a 20% increase, not 3X increase.

having a separate Currency or Premium currency has some advantages.
this is for both developers and players, including easier engagement, refunds, more control over content pricing, better localization options, ect.

well i did, i have both games and had both games open to see for my self.
thats why i had lots of numbers and data in my first post, as to show the diffrence.
yes DT Cosmetics are more expensive, but not much more than 20% more.
one cant just look at these facts and data and ignore them.

ok i didnt under stand what you were trying to get at here.
if the next class is cheaper the reception of the new class will change?
yes i agree, i would like all the new classes to be free,

however even at $11.99 its not a bad deal,
nore is it outside the pricing they have already established.

not saying i agree to this, but they are different colors.
i would like to see them just release dyes so we can color our own things but ya.

also why would recolors cost less? i mean how would you price them less?
would you decrease the cost of the item depending on how many recolors their are?
or perhaps if you bought one, you should get a discount on the recolor, which could work?
i vote for a Dye system.

understandable,
i hope with the data ive brought in this post we can both see the situation better.
i hope you all enjoy looking at this data as much as it was fun to crunch the numbers on it.
