I admit i really don’t wanna play havoc more than needed.
Also would make having more money skill based which idk how to feel about that..

If ingame aquillas are to be a thing, locking them behind the Havoc mode will trigger an exodus of players.
I tihnk it is disgusting what they have done, especially if it is a one off.
All they have done is give people to get maybe one or two items, so need to buy more to get anything interesting.
But the real kicker is theat they have remove general items from the store, like a cyber eye that cost less than 500 that you could put on any of your characters.
There is always a F U with FatShark, they just can’t be nice and do things right can they.
Ttruth is, £10 should get you the same skin, for all classes and weapons. Not £10 per character, so £40 for 4 classes.
Which costs more than the actual game, and aimed at mugs with more money than sense, which does nothing, but justify why far to many developers treat gamers like dirt and cash cows.
Especially, when it’s clear that too many developers, just don’t give a F about balancing and fixing all the issues within the game.
They made the shop 3 pages again.
yep the events over time to build fomo back up.
Yah I think it was really just game sales and an injection of new players rather than the draw of aquilas. Events over now we wait until…arbites
Who…who could have anticipated thi-oh, right:
that’s pretty good over the last 3 months. now let’s hope the trend continues.
ACTUALLY…srry…Last 2 months the last 30 days has an overlapping effect. Also, we were on track be at a lower Avg. Player count than March for May but clutch end of month sale/announcement/event saved May & probably June.
I found this other handy site Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Price history · SteamDB D@$% this site keeps daily player counts down to launch day when signed in… this might take a while…
Biggest player spikes may also corelate more with biggest sales rather than patch content.
Really hard to graph sales (they happen so frequently) against month avg may need finer data points but they do corellate will have to find patch drop dates eventually.
Oct 3rd Patch Day Boost of +15K
Oct 4th Sale + Patch Boost of +4k
Oct 8th Peak Boost of +29k, Player Count 33,824
Sale Ends in post decline -12k from Peak. PC: 21,678
Wombo Combo of big change patch and biggest sale yet was the most successful event since launch numbers. I’d tend to believe patch was main contributor but I’ll have to look at more events later… this website may be my new fav..
There was a period of time it was sitting on steam concurrent user count in 4000-5000 for months. Effectively doubled now.
Also cost to entry is very low like £10-12 steam keys for what is essentially continuous game loop and not limited one off experience. Steam reviews shows around 25% reviews are from players that bought steam key elsewhere and not steam direct.
It will be 20K+ once class DLC comes.
I think it will be…

If they release proper Arbites armor… and breastplates def. over 20k
