Anyone have some cool mods I don't know about?

Looking to spice it up and try mods again. They always get funky on my PC (especially the spawner one for the Psykanium.)

Here’s my current list (and am currently adding more as I browse)

I saw someone using an auto tagger so that spotting was more like what it was in VT2, anyone know about that mod?

EDIT: Here’s my updated list, thanks to community feedback.
note: I only use the alert system being a father I have to have one headphone off and am actually handicapped on the left side due to lack of audio. As such, I have adjusted the ranges of the warning system to be for enemies who produce audio cues to ranges up to 12.5m as opposed to the default 40m.

Here’s some I found useful

LogMeIn (load game, go straight to character select instead of sitting at “Hit Spacebar” screen)
FullAuto (saves your clicky-finger from cramps when rapid firing semi-auto weapons)
Creature Spawner (lets you try out and spawn enemies in the Meat Grinder)
Collectible Finder (displays chat message when close to books/idols/etc)
Dark Cache (should make loading on Mourningstar generally faster)
C-thru Shields (makes slab shields transparent so you can see through them without being blind)
PsykaniumInvHotkey (allows you to just hit “I” in the Meatgrinder to access character screen instead of having to walk to the chest)

This one gave my game a serious aneurism last time I tried it.

You can practically be far away and still identify that small stim pack on the ground in missions. They give huge icons above them.

Creature spawner mod makes the Psykhanium into a place where you can actually test your weapons or practice against a certain enemy type. You can spawn any enemy, even monstrosities. It’s even possible to save a preset group of enemies and spawn them as many times as you want with a single button press.

Buy until rating mod feels necessary if you want to do any crafting, it will auto-buy a number of items you choose, or until you get one with a good rating. Also it auto-sells any items from brunt below a rating you choose, and keeps any items that are at or above the rating. So you don’t need to waste time going through low level weapons to sell for your money back.

The perspectives mod lets you see your character in 3rd person, I don’t think it’s good for actual gameplay but it’s fun to go in 3rd person sometimes. You can see your characters legs jiggling around if you move a certain way while crouched, but you can’t tell in first person, so I use the mod to make my legs jiggle in the elevators.

The talent refund mod makes it so instead of getting rid of all of your talents at once or having to go back one by one in your talents to make a change, instead you can right click a talent and it will remove that talent and all of the ones that come after in the tree. It saves a lot of time when you’re testing out new builds.

Psych ward mod is one of the best, it lets you avoid the Mourningstar all together, along with the extra loading time. It lets you select a mission from the character select screen. A huge benefit of this is that you no longer have to wait for a loading screen if you want to switch characters to look in the different shops. Plus, everything from the Mourningstar is available. You can buy cosmetics, weapons, craft, even pick a mission or go to the Psykhanium at whatever difficulty you want.

I use most of these, if not all. Healthbars is a popular one I don’t personally use (I find it annoying and gets in the way). LessAnnoyingPing is very necessary, especially with veterans that rebind their target key.

There are some good suggestions in this tread, but I caution you on using stuff that’s borderline cheats. It makes you become a casual. I remember some people crying for more difficulty, yet losing their mind when the sound was super bugged and would make half the specials silent, they all went and used the “Spidey Sense” mod which is essentially cheating (by the way the mod is still up and running if you need crutches and will always exist and be used regardless of the state of the sound of the game). They missed a chance of an extra modifier on top of those Auric ones.

Thanks for the suggestion. Surely, I don’t use mods that tell me information that wouldn’t be otherwise obtainable. I seek only QoL mods, such as the ones I listed.

Click2Play - double click your character in the character selection to load your character instead of having to select your character and move your mouse to click the big button

DisableScreenEffects - gets rid of some obtrusive effects

NoSkull - removes the skull icon from enemy tagging. Useful for distance tagging as the skull usually ends up covering the tagged enemy

no_dodge_jump - prevents you from jumping when you’re spamming dodges

hub_hotkey_menus - no need to walk around the MourningStar, just open menus from where-ever, including within the Meatgrinder

sorted_mission_grid - sorts the mission menu into an easier to read grid format sorted by difficulty

PreferAuric - mission board now defaults to the Auric menu

TalentRefundBelow - refunding a talent will refund every talent after it, no more clicking repeatedly

PsykaniumDefaultDifficulty - changes the default difficulty in the Meatgrinder to one of your choice, less clicking now

psych_ward - changes the defaul menu to the one where you select the meatgrinder instead of the tutorials

more_characters_and_loadouts - does what it says

buy_until_rating - auto buys and sell weapons at Brunt’s. You can set how many to buy, what rating to stop at, and auto sell weapons below a certain rating

barter_with_hadron - access Hadron from your own inventory menu

Ration Pack - shows how many uses are left in the ammo crate

kill_tracker - keeps a kill count and combo kills on screen

MyFavorites - enables you to lock weapons to keep from accidently selling

StimmsPickupIcon - adds correspodning colors to the stimms icons so they’re easier to tell apart

If you add the following launch option in steam, you can skip the launcher. Doing also prevents the numerous bug report menus from popping up when you crash.

“<insert your Darktide.exe directory here, for example c:\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\binaries\Darktide.exe>” %command% --bundle-dir …/bundle --ini settings --backend-auth-service-url https://bsp-auth-prod.atoma.cloud --backend-title-service-url https://bsp-td-prod.atoma.cloud"

A true servant of the Emperor!

psych_ward - de rigeur
scoreboard - I should probably get an upgrade to this so I can see better damage types
ShowEquippedInLobby - Not sure if this is redundant now
reveal_blessings - So you know what’s available
ChatBlock - So you don’t get whacked while writing out a pithy insult to someone
barter_with_hadron - Comes with the usual health warning. Don’t sell stuff you want to keep
true_level - Obvs
TalentRefundBelow - Handy way to change builds, or flip to a parallel ability node
ShareTalents - Save your builds to a text file, or share them online. Hopefully one day it’ll be compatible with Dark Lantern
PlayerOutlines - Not all of us can pick out grey from dark brown all that easily, so … this just helps

Needs to be updated to the latest patch, but this is a good start:

The best mods IMHO are:

NumericUI - so many minor critical improvements to the scoreboard.

Ovenproofs’s Scoreboard Plugin - much better scoreboard that works on top of the default.

Psych Ward - basically lets you bypass the mourningstar entirely and manage your characters and launch missions from the character select screen.

Player Outlines - way better clarity on players position during messy fights.

Enhanced Descriptions - seriously amazing. Adds essentially tooltip-level details to the blessing/perm/talent descriptions and exposes a lot of the underlying mechanics in how things actually work.

More load outs - need more load out slots.

I really recommend these:

  • Buy Until Rating - 100x QoL improvement to the whole crafting game. For example, when I click a weapon once it will buy up to 20x of them (or until it gets a base score 380) and sell everything below 360. So one click, 2-3 seconds, and I now have 1-2 items left to check that might be worth upgrading. Instead of spending minutes hassling around with the UI, checking and selling them all one by one when over 90% of them are going to be garbage anyway.
  • Custom Hud - Lets you customize your UI
  • Buff HUD Improvements - Addon to above, it adds a custom hotbar and a special UI with which you can move specific buffs you want on that hotbar. With both you can move the peril gauge, toughness / hp, or critical buffs like True Aim or Weapons Specialist etc. right next to the crosshair so you’ll always know what’s going on.
  • Ration Pack - Shows remaining charges on ammo boxes.
  • Prefer Auric, and Psykhanium Default Difficulty - Remembers your difficulty / auric board selection so you never have to bother with the pointless extra clicks again.

Been looking for this one, thank you.

Psych Ward is seriously the best thing since sliced bread. Last I checked the mod description doesn’t actually fully convey what it does… but what it does is allow you to bypass the mourningstar completely - and let you play the game the way it should have been made, from super quick access menus with zero loading. The only loading is now into missions.

NoSkull - Gets rid of the skull over enemies when tagging them

GuaranteedWeaponSwap - Helps alleviate some of the weapon swap issues

kill_tracker - keeps track of short term kill streaks

KillfeedImprovements - turns the “killed a rager one line spam” into “killed a rager x10” if killed in short time.

LessAnnoyingPing - changes the tagging enemies sound to be the mark materials sound making it less invasive

ManyMoreTry - You can save any map for 24 hours to play it with friends. Only useable with a party.

LogMeIn - Skip the need of needing to wait for the intro screens. Automatically selects your last character and loads you in.

MyFavorites - Mark an item favorite to prevent it from being sold. Use in conjunction with Item Sorting mod for a better experience.

RecolorBossHealthBars - You can change the color of each boss health bar to be more unique so its not the same plain color every boss spawn.

PreferAuric - Automatically selects the Auric Board everytime you open mission selection

show_crit_chance - adds a number on your UI so you can see your current crit chance.

true_level - shows how long someone has actually been playing darktide in the form of levels. Basics - 1 level = 1 hour.

CorrectMissionVotingInfo - let’s us see the actual amount of dockets/experience we get for missions.

I share the cryonic rod with whoever asks because I’m tired of how stingy some groups are with sharing pure meme mods like this one.

Does anyone know the mod that lets you view your match history?

Power DI?

That would be the Scoreboard mod. I can’t remember if saving score snapshots is enabled by default but it’s in the mod options.
