Anyone got any Vet SS builds for Voice of Command?

I wanna get that cool veteran cosmetic that requires 5k hp healed with it, but I honestly never picked it before. Executioner’s Stance is too good to pass.

It’s 5k toughness, not hp.
Here’s the build. It’s very straightforward. Tag things, kill things, toss grenades, get buffs, shout every time the ability is off cooldown. Your team also gets empowered health and ammo boxes.

In general, I think most people would say the opposite, that VoC is much stronger than Exe stance and I would agree. The oenance to restore toughness with it kind of sucks because it teaches you to use it reactivately instead of preventatively but it doesn’t take too long.

IMO longshot without taling the reload talent after it is kind of a waste. Empowered crates is a bit too situational for me so I would swithc it out for that, although if you still want crates Rending Strikes (depending on your weapons) isn’t that useful.

Here’s a meta Veteran build that uses Voice of Command. It’s very powerful and versatile.

Remember to shout proactively as well instead of just reactively - reactive shouting works too, but the overtoughness provided by Duty and Honour completely nullifies any incoming damage, including from Poxbursters, Snipers, and Crusher/Mauler overheads.

I made some modifications to it, but do you think it would work on the Twins boss fight in t5?

It could work if you swap Demo Stockpile for Field Improvisation, as field improv is pretty much required for that fight to go well. I have a dedicated build for HM twins, but the meta Veteran build will work fine for standard Damnation twins.

Path towards weapon specialist or focus target and pick the minor stuff you want or need for your weapons.
Voc allows lots of build flexibility so swapping minors around your uses should be more important than what some S tier build uses.

I’m rocking with this to dominate this patch

Can you tell all the vets to start doing this? it helps an Ogryn very much!

Depends a lot on your playstyle and skillset. Exe stance is far stronger at preventing bad situations from even happening, shout is far stronger for recovering once the S has already HTF. Different tools for different jobs.

Exe stance is the best shooting supporting one even if in most cases taking some high damage with high crit damage and weapon specialist would be the best overall. You can also shoot through teammates finally with all the guns you would want to use it with so it definitely moved up the list for me.

Shooters are also worth shooting back again so he’s definitely onto something. Not the best loadout but very strong when played attentively. The real issue there is vets best weapons are not weakspot based atm, and cleave.

People scoff at executioners stance because it doesn’t work defensively like voice of command or infiltrate but with the right build and kit it can make you deal some of the craziest damage in the game. I use it somewhat regularly and it allows me to one shot reapers and drop monstrosities in 1-2 mags depending on the weapon. It is super effective at giving you a window of crazy DPS. It shouldn’t be so readily ignored as much as it is, you just gotta pick your moment and position yourself well.

Real guardsmen use Exec. Stance

VoC is cheating as far as i’m concerned, but OP asked for an SS build for VoC, so its only fair that we answer poperly

VoC is to DT what the railgun was in HD2 on release. If most people by a wide margin are using it, it’s probably OP.

VoC is op (partially because Tactical Awareness is op as well) and yet people get rekt while using it.
