I find it really satisfying with a good EWC setup and the mod that switches Helbore from negative edge to a standard input. Needs some support from your teammates to not just be miserable.

I prefer the normal vet shotgun.
It has the “sniper” mark, the “fire” mark, and the other mark i don’t remember what it was for.
It feels more like a shotgun.

This would be the ideal honestly. Not sure if its likely since thats alot of work for no monetization. Highly possible we get a heavy gunner class in the future with such weapons tho. Maybe a one shot with a plasma pistol for Saltz’s bounty hunter ult and a hellgun backpack weapon similar to bardins Outcast Engi on a kasrkin/stomtrooper class? I’d play the hell out of that.
I would like the veteran to have a hotshot lasgun or a hellgun. The funny thing is that skitarii were often depicted as having hotshot/hellguns before their faction release.

I actually wouldn’t mind infiltrate being more like bardin rangers smoke bomb where you stay invisible while in the smoke even while firing ranged weapons.
