Quote everything my friend:
Where is the contradiction?
Is it breaking the game? No
Is it a cheat? Surely
Is it something that will hurt me? How? I won’t even say that someone use that. And the benefit is not even noticeable.I am more concerned by the total absence of balance between weapons (and also talents), THIS is ruining my fun. And not a mod I could not even notice that someone, in my team, uses.
If it was an auto aim mod, a speed hack, an infinite ammo hack, or an invincibility cheat, here yes it would ruin my fun.
But here, I guess fatshark would step in and stop that by banning players.
I stay on my position. It is allowed by fatshark. You know you can report things, don’t you? If you need the link it is here: Submit a request – Fatshark
But still, there is not a lot of solutions:
- easy anti cheat
- continue the current policy
Cause what you describe as obvious cheat, is totally subjective. So who would decide what is a cheat, what is an improvement of the game, what enhances the game for people with disabilities? You? but what may be acceptable for me will surely won’t be for you.
So, this is purely subjective.
Fact is, you have to accept Fatshark policy and their statements.
I repeat it here… I am more concerned by mods that are not allowed and that are still used in game and seems not identified. So if you don’t report the player, nothing happen. However, several mods cannot be identified when used by a player. So we cannot report them.
Here is my main concern, how they enforce their decisions.
(I have seen again someone using shirtless cosmetic, and I have posted also a nice screenshot of someone that use a mod to launch “I need r…pe!” in chat)
