Or even better they get in a stand off and the gangers roll a severed heretic’s head over with a note that says ‘the Emperor protects’ in its mouth. The loose cannon shouts ‘Wes!’ and a mohawked ganger with a blonde concubine steps out arms in the air yelling ‘WE GO IN, WE KILL!’

A hive ganger is not a mary sue. The trope of “mary/marty sue” implies unearned power. Gangers are born and die in some of the most brutal conditions in 40k. They earn the right to be powerful.
If you’re going to be a weirdo culture warrior at least use your stupid terms correctly.

Not my point.
I was talking about how this aesthetic is not attractive in the current market.
Yet they chose to let our characters go trough humiliation to empower the new one. Which is a trope that has been failing consistently trough the years.
So many other better ways to present this new character.

No there are no better ways to represent a Hive Ganger. That is what they look like and it’s an already established thing that they do look like that

I don’t know man. I’ve been following sales numbers for several releases.
The woke “aligned” trope hasn’t been cutting it. Being associated with them right now doesn’t sound like the greatest ideas to me.
