After +1 month of Packmaster in normal missions

I must say thank you

Thank you, this boss has been one of the best dopamine hits I’ve gotten out of this game so far

It could get some little change here and there, but the base is so solid that it’s soooo good to have in missions

When are we buffing Plague Ogryn?

It would be nice to see them in pairs.

I want them to overhaul hunting grounds and have you fight like 3 of these guys in the level, change the puppy packs to his starting dog waves and throw armored dogs in like they’re leading the little dogs around. Also yeah double dog man is hilarious to fight, but very rare to see in expeditions (one has to panic spawn, which is the rarest of the 3 possible spawns, and then one has to be idle on the map). I wish I could force that one specifically at this point, its the most fun fight there.

I was thinking this too. To rework hunting grounds to be more frequent dog waves (cause we get 2-3 in most missions) and with every wave a packmaster comes.

packmaster worst boss ever
he looks bad
he acting bad. Yes he have some dogs, its good.
but that not compensate his flaws
he need to redesign exterior and interior both

no need to thx them for this potboiler

Nonsense, his visuals are peak and almost straight from table top (which makes sense since pox hounds are just nurgle rebranded khornate hounds for visuals).

And I’m not sure what level of depth people are expecting, its a horde game, but he’s up there with Spinemanglr from VT2 in terms of unique attacks from a boss, summons minions and has great voice lines. Does he need a grapple or something?

There is nonsense only in ur head man. Are you saying you really liked something just coz it was in a table top game? I have bad news for you: you have no taste.

He looked like a trash in 00’s, he looks lie a trash today.
Just one little mistake FS decided to repeat.

Calling Packmaster trash is nosense, yeah I call him pushover myself but still is better than trash and his issiues can be fixed.
So yeah cool you have your opinion but next time try to dont act like moron to someone who dont agree with you.

I don’t think any bosses are particularly hard, and can be solo’d after playing long enough with ease. But I’ll go back to my earlier stance in another thread, ‘I would rather be threatened by bosses trying to wear me down that an essentially OHK grapple’. The design is more engaging, along with seeing them use more moves. I like that he makes the rest of the screen more threatening, instead of them conspiring to kill you while the chaos spawn eats your face for 5 minutes.

And hate to break it to you, but there are people who appreciate the ‘game come to life’ element of it being warhammer and set in the warhammer universe. That’s more a self-own than anything, go on and be a tourist somewhere else. If you have any actual opinions that aren’t childish ‘this bad me no like’ I’d like to hear it. Or how this boss wouldn’t be a 100% candidate for literally replacing beast of nurgle its such a waste of a slot and undeveloped boring garbage, or plague ogryn (same thing after they reverted the single buff he ever got in the history of this game, because you couldn’t back dodge it with a slab shield level dodge).

You are not a good reader, ant you? There were a discuss about “miniature argument” - pack master is good coz it’s have apperance from table top.
No, it’s not. It a bad mini from another time. More over, from another layer of lore: transfer khornate mini to nurgle forces not an original move, but a crap, nurgle have a lot of his own and much better.

I not a table top fun, but thx to this man, now i know why packmaster look like a sh*t.

Because fighting just X variety of enemy is dumb. It would have been way lamer without the loaner units from clans Skyre, Moulder and Pestilens in VT2, and the chaos cult would be way less cool without renegade guardsmen and ogryns. You’d only have plague ogryns if you followed some numpty reading of the lore. And you’d have to ignore how the game has always presented it as a chaos cult, and the sigils of most of the traitor units in game are of Chaos Undivided…

takes one to know one

Nope, man. There is no any clue to chaos undivided, and chaos stars is not enough.
Thru DT plot there always was only Nurgle, ask D.Abnett if you have some doubts.

You feel happy of this lame exemplar only coz FS did not added new bosses in regular from release*.
That like mom did not let you eat sweets over a years and now give you a cheap candy.

ppl shoud not thx FS for it.

*except of twins, and they were really nice.
but they not a regulars ones

yep. go away boy, and close the door.

I was playing the other day; we killed a pack master, then a second packmaster came in, then a third, and while we were fighting them, a captain waltzed in.

It was a lot going on. Seems like spawn gets a bit busted about 25-33% of the expedition games I play.

the sigil is quite literally as ubiquitous as the nurgle cult emblem, by design. here are some screenshots of just some of the enemies you’ve been fighting the entire time covered with chaos undivided sigils. with big red circles if you haven’t noticed, we can go through the rest of the game too if you’d like. I literally only spawned these enemies, there are more (and on the dreg side, heresy!). the whole ‘its a nurgle only show’ is completely revealing you don’t know what you’re on about one bit and should stow it. either find a legitimate criticism besides baby moaning, or admit you know squat-bubkus about the lore to dispute why this stuff is here. personally I think pack master was shipped a little undertuned, but I know the devs already tried to ship an aggressive boss before with spawn and had to nerf him pretty heavily. finding the right balance is what the full release of the enemy is for, hopefully

it is indeed quite random, not all objectives will build resistance equally and not all seeds are generated the same. I’ve had some crazy games where we kill like 5000 enemies in maybe 45 minutes, which is insane even by havoc standards, and others where we get like 3000 in the same time and half the bosses too. I wish they’d flatten it, in the direction of being more hard all the time lol

As i said before - if you have a doubts about plain nurgle narrative in DT story - you could asked Dan Abnett about it

Have a nice read, loremaster.
lol

btw:
If you would really want to find argument for “universal” enemies in DT roster, you could refer to chaos spawn coz it absolutly common and have no any nurgle signs.
but u couldn’t

as i said a couple of time here
expeditions is shame and fiasco
Packmaster in his currents condition - a same.

FS need to make him more nurgle and completrly change his action model and behavior.
Now its a garbage enemy in every aspect.

What is the more "nurgle"y design you meant? I only found the miniature design that are in the game. Do you have a picture of it by chance. I’m just curious.

there is no no example of cource, but who said it need?
Twins never had a some miniature prototype and this fact didn’t stop FS to make them good models with some of nurgle common elements
its a pure fantasy man, damn, FS making money for create. So, they should start to create, not just copy bad references.

btw, i hate his tusks, its look silly. they need to be rot to the ground
