Achlys Special Critical Weakspot vs Mauler

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Bugs
1

Issue Type (Required):

Weapons

Issue Description (Required):

According to the attack inspect screen, the Achlys special attack should be doing 45 stagger on a critical weakspot hit on Carapace. My understanding is that to medium stagger a Mauler, one needs to do 40 stagger, after stagger reduction is accounted for. The Special Attack is supposed to ignore stagger reduction so that’s not a factor here. Melee critical headshotting a mauler only does light stagger where I’d expect medium stagger.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Load up Psykanium with 500 power Achlys equipped, with mobility dump stat.
  2. Critical headshot the Mauler.
  3. Light Stagger

[PC] Do You Use Mods? (Optional):

Yes, but I haven’t tried disabling them

Reproduction Rate (Required):

Constant (100%)

Platform (Required):

PC - Steam

Upload Supporting Evidence (Optional):

First video is with Achlys, second is with Ogryn + 10% Melee Weakspot strength talent with the Power Maul which medium staggers.

Not a bug I think since impact is calculated using the base armor type of enemy, which in this case is flak, and not the impacted part of the enemy.
