Been having issues with hard crashes every other mission, where audio starts to cut in and out for a few moments, often followed by a hard crash, error 2014/2001 or hard-locking my pc, forcing a hard restart. While I usually run with a modded client, these issues persist without mods and I did not previously have these issues before the second-to-last hotfix. Getting quite frustrated, lost more than a few missions already, please advise. Already checked drivers, verified files multiple times on both the Fatshark launcher as well as on Steam.

Hi, I’ve only tried this recently since the reinstall was working for a time. Seems it looks like it works, but the user_settings.config file seems to struggle to save the changes over time. It looks like the changes last when I boot up the game, but on subsequent launches it reverts it back. Any advice? Thanks
Unfortunately that hasn’t worked either, but as a side-effect it did clear my loadouts. Not too much of a problem, but I’ll have to reinsert that string again. Any idea if these issues may be addressed in the upcoming update? Thanks again
Update: I’ve tested it fairly thoroughly now, and it seems that neither enabling or disabling direct storage on the experimental build has helped to fix the issue. It might have decreased it, but if it did it’s not by much at all
Any news or other fixes I can try? The Rolling Steel update hasn’t done much to combat this issue, and I’ve tried a number of different settings and disabling mods with no clear pattern. Some missions/days it’s fine, some days I get several error 2014/2001 or hard crashes. Please advise, thanks for your time.
