Some people here might know this already but when developers play their own game, they get first-hand experience with their product and can better understand the positives and negatives of the game. A prime example of this in action is the developers of Deep Rock Galactic, that twice every week livestream themselves play the weekly Deep Dives over on Twitch for everyone to see.
It’d most likely help Darktide as a game improve if important people played the game cause right now, it feels like there’s only a bunch of people in a room making up ideas and pushing it unto others to create. We players are basically just glorified QA testers, paying Fatshark for our service.
