A List of Blessing Bugs (as of 1.5.1)

I thought it best to submit this in one post now that dev attention might still be high after the recent changes. Some are ‘classics’, some new.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

All or Nothing

  • Tactical Axes & Sapper Shovels only: weapon trait template overrides (melee_power_level_modifier) do not apply; defaults to base trait template applying a power_level_modifier of 5% instead for all tiers (affecting DoTs)

Blast Zone

  • Rumbler only: generates first stack on first shot when in alt fire mode but generates first stack on second shot when left-clicking

Blaze Away

  • Kickback & Rumbler: description wrong values; power per tier is 6% | 7% | 8% | 9%
  • Rumbler only: generates first stack on first shot when in alt fire mode but generates first stack on second shot when left-clicking
  • Inferno Staff only: wrong description mechanically; is per shot not per ammo%

Brutal Momentum / Deathblow

  • description does not mention that enemy ogryn hit mass cannot be ignored (anymore)

Ceaseless Barrage

  • does not scale per tier; 20% suppression and 6% damage vs suppressed for all tiers

Chained Deathblow

  • weapon trait template overrides do not apply; defaults to 10% crit chance for all tiers

Deathspitter

  • description does not mention that the buff can stack 5 times

Decapitator

  • description wrong values; duration is 8s (not 5s)

Decimator

  • description says power, should say melee strength (melee_power_level_modifier)

Desperado

  • description wrong values; duration is 6s (not 2s), and crit chance per tier is 12.5% | 15% | 17.5% | 20%

Executor

  • weapon trait template overrides do not apply; defaults to base trait template applying a power_level_modifier of 5% instead for all tiers (affecting DoTs); weapon trait template overrides specify melee_power_level_modifier

Explosive Offensive

  • description wrong values; duration is 6s (not 5s)

Falter (melee)

  • shares same description with Falter (ranged); mentions ranged stagger

Gauntlet Momentum

  • does not scale per tier; applies a melee_power_level_modifier of 5% instead; weapon trait template override specifies power_level_modifier

Hammerblow

  • description wrong values; duration is 3.5s (not 1.5s)

Headtaker

  • description says strength, should say melee strength (melee_power_level_modifier)

Hot-Shot

  • not a conditional stat buff so it’s active at all times buffing regular melee attacks after weapon swap as well
  • the table of the weapon trait buff template is inverted getting worse per tier: it grants 80% hit mass reduction at tier 1, 70% at tier 2, 60% at tier 3, and 50% at tier 4

Inspiring Barrage

  • Kickback only: instead of proccing the toughness replenishment immediately on first shot, does so starting on second shot (proccing twice only on the second shot); then it procs as expected on subsequent shots; note that when equipping the weapon/spawning with the weapon and proccing the blessing for literally the first time, the toughness replenishment does proc correctly on the first shot but never ever after

Lethal Proximity

  • explosion_radius_modifier not being handled as a conditional stat buff by this blessing (thereby being able to affect grenade and melee weapon explosions) seems like it’s unintended

No Guts No Glory

  • fails to set coherency regen delay to 0 when in melee combat therefore doesn’t proc when in melee combat

Optimised Cooling

  • wrong description mechanically; continuous shots reduce heat cost

Rampage

  • description says damage, should say melee strength (melee_power_level_modifier)

Relentless Strikes

  • description says strength, should say melee strength (melee_power_level_modifier)

Showstopper

  • Inferno Staff only: description wrong values; proc chance per tier is 14% | 16% | 18% | 20%

Smackdown

  • description wrong values; duration is 4.5s (not 2s)

Tenderiser

  • description wrong values; power per tier is 10% | 15% | 20% | 25%

Terrifying Barrage

  • wrong description mechanically: scales the suppression amount applied to enemies not the radius; radius is 12m for all tiers

Torment

  • description says strength, should say melee strength (melee_power_level_modifier)

Also add:

Rising Heat: Broken description, says only ‘20%’ without explaining what.

Armorbane: Busted localization on tier 3 and 4.

I didn’t include some that I’ve seen being reported multiple times.

Deathspitter: This blessing stacks up to 5 times (shows correctly in the buff bar, etc). but the description doesn’t say that it stacks.
