A harder difficulty and make us lvl 35?

I’m not sure if it’s a good idea but if we have 5 more skill points and a new hardest difficulty, wouldn’t it be fun?

What do you all think?

I’ve suggested something similar before but if they did anything like this then it should be double at a miminum for a new difficulty (an entire page of maelstrom?).

Imo It should be gated by level 60, not 35, if they did add new lvls.

give us harder difficulty and remain the same talent cap.

making an arms race between talents and difficulty, i don´t see the difference to auric maelstrom the way it is now ?

more features to combat new modifiers, where´s the point.

however, keep your char the way he´s now AND raise the bar would make for a welcome change of pace in my book.

had a rager-horde yesterday and way happy as a pig in mud. dozens of em swarmed through a doorway and really changed the way we approached the run.

what’s the point of raising the difficulty if they also lower the difficulty by buffing players?

While I’m always hungry for mastery points, I think that’s also kind of the point.

As it stands, more mastery points would water down build variety and meaningful tradeoffs. Except maybe for Veterans, I’m sure they would appreciate the wiggle room

No and no
5 more skill points would break a lot of things
New hardest diff? unneeded. Nerfs OP weapons, needed.

Especially veteran… this would break a lot of things. Veteran is already very powerful.
Melee veteran is very strong. No class can compete with a ranged veteran in term of DPS. I am not sure it would be a good idea to boost again this class…

And yes, I play this class…

Extra levels doesn’t necessarily have to give the player more power. It could gradually increase the minimum RNG roll offered by brunt etc. That’s just 1 idea.

I do like the idea of players having to play a lot more in order to get into higher difficulty.

I still wish a certain (ie large) amount of penance points were required to unlock the auric board.

Is there anyway to see our hidden level without using a mod?

No

In my experience I think psyker with the right side ult (forgot the name), assail, and mk5 infantry auto gun has the highest dps.

You are totally right

That’s also my experience. I explain this by the fact I hate psyker class. Sorry, and thanks for the correction.
Must say I think it is too much, but psyker deal more DPS with the balance they are weak. So, don’t know. I play it too few to be able to voice an opinion here. However, you’re right, I must say the scoreboard shows insane damages done by them.

time gating does absolutely nothing to stop bad players
source: i have lost track of the number of people with Auric Storm Survivor (ASS) or level >200 who are complete dogshit at the game

I don’t believe it does “nothing”. The trouble with the current system is that level 30 is gained too quickly and too easily. It’s over in just a few days.

You don’t need to spend much time in the game to enter auric.

I still believe a cetain amount of penance points would be the best gate though - then at least we know they have played substantial hours to each archetype and understood the roles and limitations more than a casual who romped through to level 30 in a few lunchtimes.

That’s not a trouble… If you ask me, that’s 29 levels too much.

ngl, I wanna leave when I get a party full of lvl 200+
only fun when all 3 are below 100 :face_holding_back_tears:

Imo, nope. A difficulty with more HP, stagger res and damage enemies would probably be very artificial and unfair… I’d prefer Fatshark invested resources in more important things

They could still spice up Maelstorm with new modifiers, tho

I think you have a good point. Perhaps what we really need is something new and creative. They can make a new mode like what they did in V2 with Chaos Waste.
