3.5 hours rolling perks

All I wanted was a 4 star gunner damage reduction. I rolled until I gave up. Three and a half hours… guys this is really not what anyone wants.
PS: I did this while I watched some movies, but oh god, how bad is this?

3.5 hours is definitely in the ridiculous realm. I’ve usually gotten the perk I wanted within 30 minutes. The RNG spirits must be angry today :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And what do we have here?

each time I click there’s a delay between her voice line and the perk I got, sometimes I click too quickly and miss a perk… to see the one I wanted disappear is so disheartening. The only thing I appreciate is its free after so many clicks

There’s an app for that

I have bad news for you. Fatshark designers still seem to believe that RNG is the way to go. The alternative would require from them to first make all perks and blessings EQUALLY as desirable. Instead we have a couple of blessings and perks everyone wants, and quite a few which are a total waste of time.

Drives me nuts that someone with the knowledge to write that tool saw the need to do exactly that in his free time.

Probably took him less time than rolling one weapon by hand.

“Never spend 6 minutes doing something by hand when you can spend 6 hours failing to automate it.”

Yeah I re-rolled the broken toughness regeneration of curios then had to re-roll it back in and it was driving me bonkers, then I had to re-roll other stuff too…
I figured I’d cobble something together to do the job while I watched TV AFK; hope it helps people not pull their hair out.

Thanks for your sacrifice and for sharing your deed with us.

I just started to ignore the whole crafting thing completely. To interact with it feels like bending over voluntarily so DT can place its sucker punch in the most wicked way possible. Some people might favor those kinds of interactions. I find them completely insufferable.

Eh no biggie, I like to be useful and or helpful. I was originally planning on writing an app to check the shops, I was on the fence about it, but luckily some merciful soul(s) did it.
As the legendary Red Green said, “if women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy”.

As for the system, yeah it’s not great but whaddya gonna do. Rather than keep butting heads with it I figured I’d try to smooth out the rough edges. I’m actually relieved the re-rolls are free after a while.

The weird thing is as you said, there are probably players who do favor stuff like this. I’d wager there are at least 4-5 different ~conflicting on the subject.
