I think what your getting at, is that you believe that some maps are SUPER hard, and others are nearly empty of enemies, and you are asking FS why is there such a discrepancy between different runs/maps on the same difficulty? (or possibly, why can the same map be empty sometimes on legend and filled to the brim with death on the next)
To respond: i am not sure. There are some maps i choose because they are generally easier in my opinion, and i have a much higher completion rate w/ them like righteous stand and Aethel Yenui, while others are pure endless death and destruction
I have no problem with a star system like that but I think Fatshark needs to fix what they broke first. They need to make weapons more viable before they do the star system u mentioned there.

btw: Aethel Yenui if you make a Full Book run, is the Way from the First Tome to the First Grim and to the Cave often rly Hart! Lot extra Spawn with Wave, lot little Chaos Squads. ( but i mean this are new, idk what Patch, i think was with 1.0.7) Rest is more easy yeah… sometime the Start can be hart XD (good Player Test XD )
This Star System is just a “BASIC” Idea for Splitt a bit this Difficult to like sub Difficult.
I think for some Player is the Difficult Progresss to hart for others to easy, but the Learing Curve is to Hard for some Players. This Difficult System is a Combination of Map Setup, Spawn and how much DMG Enemys Deal ( and is Enyme Dodge on or not). This “Overdrive” some Players.

My First Games on Recruite was a lot Waves, you cant rly Look around, come like all Time a just Trash Wave (works to finish the Map but, make a bit angry).
Highter Difficult, some stronger Enemys in Wave (like Black Rats Walk with Grps). This are perfect…
But more DMG from Enemy in a new Setup can be to hart for some Player…

Red Items Drop is so too more easy to handle… like 3 Star Legend Maps is liek a 50% Red Item Drop… (sure this need then extra Star Boxes) but the Death rate is liek 80% or so. and the Adrenalin is on like 220% XD

You know, come to think of it. I think I may have been bit too hard on FS. I mean there ARE a few choices that I can make for my hero and weapon pick that bring different flavor to the game.
As Kruber, I can go for 2h hammer, exe sword, or halberd. All three classes are completely viable.
As Elf, I can go dual dagger, glaive ,dual swords (after they fix the mess with 1.0.8), I have seen people use poison arrows and I myself use dual dagger + crossbow. Handmaiden with spear is basically super horde killer.
As Saltz, I can go for axe + repeater on BH, greatsword immortal zealot, or debuffer WH.
For wiz, people have been using bean too often but I have seen some use fireball. I don’t know if they coud have done more with bean tho. BW buff would be pretty nice though.
For dwarf, ranger is very good, iron breaker is very good, slayer needs a buff.
For you, I think the game is a bit too easy because you are the tank. I was using breaker yesterday after a lot of losses and i could breeze thru the game with some random pugs.
I guess i am just not ready for a star system atm. Maybe after they add hats and made the game more polished before they are ready to break it again =). Of course, we want every weapon in the game to be viable.

Dein Geschreibsel ist einfach wahnsinnig unverständlich und die konstanten Rechtschreibfehler, der wirre Satzbau, die inkonsistente Grammatik und ein Schreibstil, den ich am ehesten als “Gedankenrede” umschreiben könnte, helfen wirklich nicht dabei, das Ganze aufzudröseln und in ein koheräntes Ganzes zu bringen.
Was du z.B. mit dem Map Setup meinst, versteh ich überhaupt nicht. Meinst du die Größe des Patches von 28GB? Mussten sie machen, weil manche Assets wie Gebäude, Holzplanken, Böden ersetzt und die Map effektiv komplett neu geschrieben werden musste. Damit sowas wie Ratling Gunner durch Wände schießen nicht mehr vorkommt.
Und inwiefern das Spiel schwerer geworden sein soll, versteh ich auch nicht. Anhand der Reaktion der anderen Poster hier solltest du auch merken, dass dich niemand versteht.
Keine Ahnung ob du LRS oder Legasthenie hast, ADHS oder sonst irgendeine Diagnose, aber es tut mir echt leid…man versteht NULL, was du sagen willst - und zwar jedes Mal. Jedes Mal kratz ich mir den Kopf und frage mich, was gemeint ist.

Iron Breaker Easy… hmm… sure he have Strong Buffs… this is why a lot Play him OffTank (2Hand) and just like DMG…
If i a Play anOther Class, i dont see a Iron Breaker rly Tank… Many dont know how and what is Tanking… like Jump in Enemy Swarm, try to Control the Enemies, Save other Heros in Trouble, take dmg for other Player and all this… so is not Easy Overall, you can Play hart!
Slayer Buff, hmm i dont Play him last Patches!
Slayer need a good Micro Play! Parry Play! and Parry is rly Hart!
Use Active Skill for Push Back Enemies!
I Mean best Combo with Slayer is a Zealot as Tank! Zealot / Slayer Combo Play!
The Slaver need another Player in Front, to Charge in and out!
Alone works this too, if you play with CD Items, you Jump in, make Dmg, if you cant kill fast or Parry, Jump out! this is a Verry Stress Play but Works… so with Zealot Combo is this more easy…

Its a Problem to “Balance” a Game for PC and Console, a Problem to Balance for ne Players and old Player, a Problem to Balance for Casual easy Play and for Hardcore Player.

I think the current AI director within the past 3-4 patches has been a bit… odd. FS has commented on working to fix it, but from the majority of the posts i have read on the subject, usually people are either SWARMED AND MURDERED, or they have a nice fun run through. I would assume it would be AI based instead of player skill or player power, but honestly, i have no idea. I have definitely noticed some strangeness, like in Veteran getting a chaos warrior army, a horde, 2-3 specials AND a chaos spawn within 20 seconds. My new player friends got wiped out. I think its just a bit awkward atm, and hope that they patch it in time to make every round a bit more consistent. As for the stars idea, not a bad one, personally i dont mind the current setup of 4 difficulties, the only thing that can get frustrating is the amount of RNG with the AI spawn director atm. I think FS wants a bit of randomness to each map, so that for example, when you play, the spawns and timing of attacks are always different (so you dont get used to them). I dont mind randomness, because it helps increase the replayability. It can just sometimes be a bit…extreme. But i can understand wanting every run to be the same difficulty, so you can plan strategies and builds around it.

Es geht um die Aufstellung der Gegner auf der Map, das konnte man ein teil der RNG gezeichnet, wobei da die Spawn berechnung und Trigger noch nicht dabei ist…
Wieviel und welche Gegner was für ein “Setup” bilden auf der Karte…
Ist die Karte fast leer… 5 Chaos Warrior oder 25 Chaos Warrior…
Die Waves und extra Spawn (Elite+Specials) zu den Waves ist für mich ein Extra Thema.
Ich halte mich mit gegen bashen was zurück da wir hier im Fatshark Forum sind…

Kann ich auf eine Art verstehen, aber ich verstehe nun auch das du dir unter gewissen nichts Vorstellst, dazu noch ein English, was ich mir gut vorstellen kann dass dies wirklich gewisse Kopfschmerzen erzeugen könnte… da schnell lesen nicht geht und langsames lesen die Neuronen im Kopf anders benutzt, dies Kopfschmerzen so wie eventuelle aggressionen erzeugen könnte… das ist nicht meine Absicht und der Grund warum ich hier Schreibe.

I think the “Main” problem or the Different between Armored Chaos Warrior in Veteran and Legend is the Power Level…
The Power Level requirement is to low to kill Armored Chaos Warrior in Veteran… is like a little Boss. Armored Chaos Warrior + GasRatt +Trash or and Orcs make Trouble for New Players… he need much more hits to kill a Armored Chaos Warrior in proportion to 600 Power on Legend (Ulty are to not skilled, Orange Weapon Traits dont exist for low Power Heros).
He add “heavy” Veteran Setup and to same Time he Delete or Nerf the Legend Maps, so is this not in proportion…
(atm i dont test Veteran, i dont have Weapons for this to drop down my Hero Power for a like “Realistic” test)
The RNG for Map Setup, Wave and Special Spawn is Important yes! Make it more attractive to Play again and again!
But this in a Constant, like same Mass of Enemies but different Trigger Points, Swarm on different Points while the Player fight against the Basic Map Setup.
With Patch 1.0.7 exist a better RNG, like in Beta XD
At end, exist like a Possible/Realistic Technical Maximum how Many Enemies can the Team Kill, for me i like to Play on the Technical Maximum, a Microplay Fail is like Dead for the Team. (like Swarm killer cant control the mass = overrun, team are Surrounded or the Team have a good reaction and can Counter a Fail Microplay).
To Balance Legend is more Easy, to balance all under Legend with different Power Lever is very hard and dont works overall for all Players…
