Zealots and Knifes

If you can’t see the benefits of splitting it’s pointless to explain. And as I mentioned if he doesn’t go so far to aggro “extra” mobs, it is totally fine. Splitting in an area that isn’t far enough doesn’t aggro extra mobs. As soon as the hordes come (with the music) all roaming enemies in that area are alert. He can draw hordes/specials/elites from his direction away from the group. That’s a lot of pressure released.

It doesn’t work like this at all lol. You’re pretending like runs go in some sort of sterile environment where roughly 25% of the enemies would aggro to the rusher specifically, even when large elite pack usially appear from the back during Ambushes/Hordes. And I don’t even talk about dumping aggro with stealth.

Which makes me believe that you’re either one of those Zealots who think they “cArRy” every match or just delusional/clueless person with a desire to simplify situations or to avoid addressing the real issues at play.

This is totally true.
Personally, I see a big difference between a zealot that is in front of the group, but still stay around it, and players that rush.
And for testing it in solo, rushing is the worst idea you can have as if you aggro too much, you end with impossible situations (ended with 2 monstrosities and lot of enemies around, wanted to see how far we can go with a stealth zealot with the rush tactic :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ). But, not a good example, as I have never seen that occuring and was just for testing purpose (sidenote: a nurgle beast can follow you an entire level lol).

I don’t also, as you could read it (at least I hope).
But my experience is, one that want to rush, and play the rabbit, others are trying to follow the rabbit. At the end, they end all on floor and cry…

Funny. Will need to create a new topic like Vet and Plasma. They don’t need to run just stand by instant kill all things near of far. So much fun. And ? Who’s care ?

You know what I don’t get? The topic of this discussion is specifically rushers, who’s favorite choice of gear is knife on a Zealot. And every time this topic is brought up, it instantly gets polluted with AKCHULY YOU HAVE TO SPLIT ALL THE TIME and pointless explaining of the basics that Zealot should be on the frontline. We get it, you have figured out how to play the class properly, but bring it up to this particular topic?

It looks especially dumb like this guy who instantly projected that having problems with rushers is a “you problem”.

The topic is RUSHERS, not Zealots who have ran 15 meters ahead to deal with Gunner squad.

Yep and if the splitter plays it right, it’s so much better than having 4 ppl at the same spot. No point explaining to ppl who don’t understand that can’t survive with 3 ppl. Basically if one downed, they are doomed. Making it 4 wouldn’t make it any better.

Yeah “We get it” and you still arguing with me when I mentioned in the very first post that I’m talking about zealot rush that is not ok.

And yes, I have to bring this up because the nerf that ppl suggest isn’t only going to affect the rushers. It also affects ppl who play it correctly and help the team.

Just ended this game 10 mins ago.

This is a knife player that res ppl 7 times more than any others. Also the knife players the ppl complain when they lose.

Here are more. I’ll res over and over because I’m quick. I’ll split and still do significant damage, kill most specials. If you are downed? No problem, I’ll run back to res you.



Additionally, and this is a very important point. Most ppl don’t even position. They chase wherever they see enemies/monsters. It’s so dumb and no joke. You should always position where you can’t easily be ambushed and let them come to you instead of chasing. And I’ll never group when ppl do that. And it happens so often.

And I agree about rushers… and that’s what I pointed. A zealot around the team is something else than rushers. But unfortunately, rushers are not just dagger zealots.

even if i don’t like this sport it’s like football. if the team wins it’s not thanks to the goalkeeper and if the team loses it’s because of the goalkeeper.

That’s because the explanation you have provided is far from how it usially happens in the reality. And your carefully curated screenshots don’t prove anything related to rushing lol.

The screenshots isn’t about rushing. Are you dumb? I was talking about when one plays it correctly. And I just mentioned I’m saying this because the nerf will affect everybody, not only the rushers. Jesus saying the same thing over and over. Stupid.

As I “mentioned” the suggested nerf will affect anyone. And they should speak. The brain is real.

The problem is @RTO that the current balance allows the rusher playstyle. Basically with moderate skill you can become untouchable by enemies. This gives rise to a playstyle which I find way too common, that hurts other’s enjoyment of the game.

Sure nerfing it would “hurt” anyone, but would at least stop or at least considerably reduce the rusher playstyle.


It doesn’t matter that you don’t play like this, many others do, and I’m personally very tired of the all too familiar experience of having 1 rusher, 1 revolving door leaver and a third teammate I have to duo through map while the rusher agro dumps sh-t at us at regular intervals.
