I mean copying dying lights tower climbing mechanic and not fixing game issues from years ago is….something
oh and had a shuttle ramp that wasn’t solid, stuck with my torso right out and couldn’t enter when mere seconds were of the essence ![]()

maybe they can also copy half-life’s mechanic that you actually have to press USE on a ladder, and not get glued to it as soon as you touch it. had about 28 years time to do so.
speaking of half life, remember the deathmatch map with the bunker door closing on a timer and an airstrike killing everyone still outside?
valve had the right idea to nuke idiots that are stalling.
We cannot have new Tide content without at least a dozen of annoying bugs. That would be against a well established tradition ![]()
the mode even has potential and to my horror I find myself more inclined to help people out in a pinch.
but then I get fked sideways by mechanics blocking my movement or dropping me where others effortlessly jump over. ![]()
hope they fix it alongside the crashes, for intensity and at last no party finder obligation on auric is good enough to get me some dopamine
Yeah, I also had multiple people get ledged in surprising places. The first time we lost a match I was circling around the player respawn with elite train on my a55 and that new Ogryn in pursuit. I got bumped by his charge into “ledge situationship” myself. In few places were mobs basically disappeared…not sure if they despawned or fell through the map. Anyway the game mode puts me to sleep most of the time. One active player kills more mobs on one Auric map than a whole team during those Expeditions.
you can always stir up some patrols ![]()
so far, crate alarms etc had around the same spawn density as say chasm logistratum on the way to the first drop off.
Wait, you expecting clowns that couldn’t even test if their patch didn’t disabled FSR framegen to pay attention to such minutiae as gameplay?
Yeah as ogryn I’m getting stalled by small ledges and rails all the time. Also in one of the hideouts there is a pipe sticking out the wall that I have to walk around as it’s head height lol
not just ogryn, normal human sized character gets stuck…etc. on new mode too.
Start a riot? Yes, sah.
Every mission I see someone stuck in the ramp spamming jump ![]()
Just gotta back it out and try again!
found another “schmankerl” while doing the tower climb monkey jumps:
while it helps to keep jump pushed as ogryn it sometimes leaves you in floating state, unable to move quicker than the animations pace would take to grab hold of the floor and nor melee or ranged action possible.
quite “nice” to slide into an engagement that way, luckily the stiffness went away after 5 or so seconds.
still a grave oversight in design, tagging along a known issue for years until know it bites one in the ass real hard.
I can’t vault as big man, and my Veteran gets stuck on every texture while side-dodging!!! ![]()
Also, there’s some parkour where the containers are placed annoyingly far apart, so the only way I can pull off the jumps is to use a knife and charge heavy attacks for the sprint boost before jumping! ![]()

btw, it’s interesting how tornadoes grab you inside a structure and have you float under the ceiling.
Grut me is it finally time? Lemme get my crumping boots!
they suck harder than

which is an achievement in itself
vaulting and getting shot in the tornado and dying even with castigator’s stance active feel super polished
wombo-combo air rebound?
