XSX performance issue

Most explosions, quite predominantly the ogryn ‘Bombs Away!’ Blitz and Rumbler grenade launcher cause a short stuttering effect on detonation, effecting my personal performance regardless if I’m the one using them or an ally.

No, I don’t use mods

lmao actually no idea how that happened sorry, I swear it looked normal when I first posted it. First time on the forums though, was sad to see similar posts to this one afterwords however, going back to October 2023 even, so I doubt it’ll matter either way :upside_down_face:

Those grenades deffo have a serious stuttering effect, I wonder what causes it.

@xGarrus I see what you mean! I’ll pass this on to our Console Developers to look into.

Curious, as this doesn’t seem to be widely reported by XSX users… so I wonder if the issue is installation or save data related somehow.

Could you please try the following:

  • Uninstall and reinstall Darktide (this can help us rule out if the issue is installation-related)
  • Delete your local save data (progress is stored on our servers, not to worry! This can identify if the issue is data-related)
