Yah, It actually would be a great character arc (who doesn’t love underdogs) if it were made more obvious to the “Forever Rejects.”

And yet, still no solo mode. Fatshark’s “memory lane” is more like a “memory yard stick” since I can still remember the promise that solo mode would be in the game from 3 years ago. Do you?
Could have added Solo Mode to that list. Maybe in the 2026 wrap up?
Let me take a wild guess and say “it’s not solo mode, or anything else we promised you, but is a new game mode no one asked for?” well? Am I close?
The only thing I’m passionate about is getting you to fulfill the promise to add solo mode after three freaking years! Or, better yet, just tell me it’s never coming and you’ve officially scrapped it so we can all move on and stop this charade. Stop playing around and confirm something for the Emperor’s sake

I’m all for reminding FS to acknowledge the lack of Solo Mode, but it just feels wrong to wallop on Julia of all people about it. It’s like going being angry about the negligence of your currently absent teacher and going after the one who’s just came to class as a substitute.

I know, it’s just that it’s a shame seeing innocent people being caught in the crossfire.
So, what should we do? Not say anything to anyone? Someone has to be the messenger between us and the dev team/corporate. Unfortunately, that’s the job of CMs and Community Support. Just like it’s a server’s job to bring your complaints (or praise) about your food to the Kitchen Staff. I’m not taking out my frustration on Julia or Catfish. I’m expressing my frustration and complaints to Julia or Catfish, like Strawhat and Aqshy before them, so they can say “Hey, people are still asking about Solo Mode.”
Julia isn’t being flamed, or attacked, or “shot as the messenger” and I have no idea why you’re trying to frame it that way.
You’ve been around long enough to know more intimately than most how badly burned we are on good will comms.
Julia has been a bright light in the darkness of FS community management, especially after strawhat, and especially on the official forums that seem forgotten at times, often going above her support role to do what should absolutely be handled by a CM.
I’d try not to get your jimmies too rustled if some forum dwellers would prefer a caveat or tonal lightness when she’s the messenger.
It’s more framing it like I’m attacking Julia that I have a problem with. Like, Hammer_Hold isn’t new to the Forums, he should know how quotes work. I wholeheartedly agree that Julia goes above and beyond, and like with Strawhat, I’ve never blamed them for what they’re not sharing. Having worked a support desk, I completely understand that sometimes you literally aren’t allowed to say specific things and would never blame another customer support person for their silence on the topic. What I would do, am doing, and will continue to do, is point out the issues and keep the fight for solo mode and other missing features going until we hear something concrete (and no, “not a priority” isn’t concrete without a complete roadmap/list of priorities with that feature included). So if people like Hammer_Hold want me to shut up and to stop “harrassing CMs/Support” then they should be asking for that information to be released too. /shrug
Hammer is an odd duck, so i recommend you let it slide this time.

I know your messaging and strategy and support your mission and know that you weren’t attacking her and I still was briefly like “oh no Sci, not at Julia” just cuz of my last comment.
I would be expecting people to be telling the Solo Mode stuff to the CM since a part of their job is to gather feedback from the playerbase.
Community support is more when someone has an issue that needs to be solved, like a bug in-game or a technical issue on the Forums.
So I expect for people like you to tag and leave posts about Solo Mode related to Quickpaw and not someone like Julia.
Also:
Let’s not act as if you have completely 0 ill intent behind your comments about Solo Mode.
Some of your comments are borderline pestering the Communitty Support like Julia, knowing very well that they can’t just give you what you want, no matter how much you tag them about it.
Not saying that you are a malicious individual who wants to hurt people. I agree with you that Solo Mode needs to be acknowledged. It is more so that you shouldn’t be oblivious as how some of your remarks come across to people who aren’t as invested into the Solo Mode topic as you are.
How can you claim that I “have ill intent” and say that "I’m not saying you’re a malicious individual who wants to hurt people” in the same post? Having ill intent would make me a malicious individual. So for the record:
