If this involves anything of the sort, it will genuinely mark the only time I’ve ever even considered switching my review to negative.
There is absolutely zero reason why a small number of mods and the silly sausages that use them would require the devs bricking the entire system for the whole PC playerbase which we’ve had for years. They need to know it’s not even remotely a viable option, and if what seemed to happen when the leaked ideas for a DSIV nerf hit the scene is the only thing they’ll listen to (steam review go red 
) , then I’m on board. I’ve recommended this game since the beginning, warts and all, but this would go unbelievably too far.
It’s the same reason I jumped to respond here as soon as I spotted it:
It genuinely baffles me how folks who lived through Vermintide’s shortlived sanctioning mess could ever even consider wanting anything remotely similar happening again, or just stand on the sidelines while the devs may be going completely off the deep end in regards to implementing something as diabolical here.
