This is almost sad. These keystones have such timid effects with so many pre-requisite conditions and stack-grinding that they look like a joke.

Victor Saltzpyre just mogs the whole veteran class. Increase your headshot damage by stacking ranged headshot kills and carefully tiptoeing around conditions that strip you of your buff? Saltzpyre just hits heads harder by default. Extra damage for marking targets if you abstain from marking targets to build up stacks? Saltz applies full damage bonuses against EVERY mark even those that he doesn’t mark (up to 4 separate targets SIMULTANEOUSLY). This is all just passive before Saltz has invested a single point into any talents, and I haven’t even covered all of his passives!!! At least he has to invest a talent point to show up the final keystone’s ability to give you one crit for juggling weapons with his ult-upgrade that let’s saltz press ‘F’ to crit the world for days.

Someone in Fatshark seems to be making the classic mistake that complexity = depth. Again.

I feel like someone over there must be absolutely LIVID at the very concept of breakpoints and wants our power level throughout a run to be all wibbly-wobbly as half a dozen different sets of STACKS fluctuate all over the place.

Seriously, stop with the stacks! It makes balance a pain, encourages stupid playstyles, and overcomplicates everything!

Just make everything do a simple +% for whatever the heck you want it to do. That’s it.
