Will Fatshark address any of most requested issues?

Just a question.

Removing the locks is the most requested. Not sure when they will do this though. They are on vacation right now.

That kind of introspection requires integrity, transparency, as well as the ability to hold one’s self accountable to past mistakes. Suffice to say, such transparency is absent from this company. Indeed. Fatshark has shown time and time again to not hold any sense of decency by either manipulating information in an attempt to exonerate themselves from wrong doings or going silent on critical issues brought forth by the community. Such citations include when they revised their earlier statements about earning premium currency. The embarrassing interview from the CEO about micro-transactions. Of course we shan’t forget the controversial “Design Intent” about Darktide’s inherent flaws, then failing to provide clarifications in relation to Darktide’s intrinsically player-hostile systems. There’s also the way “Beta” was handled and the many mishaps that happened thereafter.

Many more instances documented within this forum.

To put it simply the apparatus of Fatshark will neither acknowledge nor address the sore points that the community has been repeating ad nauseam since “Beta” days. This is the conclusion I’ve personally drawn from months of commentating and lurking on the side.

I’ve yet to see any sensible explanation from Fatshark on why they’ve diverged from Vermintide 2’s received features:

To Darktide’s misery simulator feature package of algorithmic RNG annoyances.

By the looks of things they are on vacation since December, or they are working on something else.

Aye, some day, perhaps, and when that day does come; Fatshark will most certainly be dishonest in their response to the community’s many, many, criticisms. Either by being fraudulent in their communications through manipulating the response to suit their narrative or by downplaying the issues, or ignoring the feedback completely with the hubris of an inflated Icarus wanting to dominate the lands beyond.

The above aren’t exaggerations but repeated patterns observed from Vermintide 2’s controversies - by far the biggest of which that I personally felt burned by the most was the tone deaf handling of Winds of Magic.

In their mind they have. We used to get emperors gift as a rng at the end of mission. Like one everyone 5-10 missions.
We now also get more crafting drops and credits, and you can buy cosmetics with other characters than the one you play… Sort of shared resource.
They added locks instead of full rng and they added more reskins and penances and weapons and maps.
How are we not satisfied yet and showing our gratification by splurging in the paid store!?

That is the mind set of whom ever is in charge.

We did get this in the last commlink though

I think that is as good as it will get. Doubt they will do anything.
Most likely it will be the same as last time. When they didn’t remove the rng but instead compounded the issue by creating steps of rng which is ultimately much much worse but on the surface looks better… Which seems to be fatshark M.O

To answer OP:

No, and in fact, they will suck all enjoyment out of the game purely because you asked.
