Who are the Moebian 21st?

The new Vanguard Bundle has brought us a teensy smidge of light on what we thought was a PDF Force in Darktide. They appear to be the Moebian 21st, likely to be another Astra Militarum Regiment from the Moebian Domain. Unlike the Traitoris Militarum Regiment known as the Moebian 6th, the 21st have remained Loyalist. Is there anything that I’ve missed?

Apparently they’re usually deployed to a world with aquatic arcologies, hence the blue fatigues.

I guess its possible they’re drawn from the character background world that you can choose, the one thats a mostly aquatic planet?

They could be Navis Imperialis, although they don’t seem like it. They must be a very diverse Regiment if they have Specialists in those fields.

Check the flavor text, I’m definitely forgetting something.

I’ll have a looksy :sunglasses:
Edit: Yeah, it checks out. They’re very involved on Incron, perhaps they’re even comprised of mostly Incron natives, similar to the 6th being comprised of mostly Atoma natives.

Maybe, I’m thinking it’s like a specialist training area. Like Atoma may be where you learn more city fighting and urban warfare, and Incron may be where you learn to fight like a navy seal pretty much.

That’s what I get from the style anyway. They all have rebreathers that remind me of the scuba type gear SEALS use.

Navis Imperialis SEALs :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:

Exactly, but that’s what it feels like right? That’s what I see when I look at the vet anyway

seems to be an off-world regiment that got stuck on atoma at a bad time and was picked by grendyl to serve as his personal army to reduce the chances of traitor moles

Honestly for how abysmal their preformance has been I assumed they were Atoman exclusive PDF force and not a real Guard Regiment… seriously I don’t know if they’ve done anything right so far, and the only reason Tertium is still standing is because they have Tank support to hide behind and the Moebian 6th doesn’t.

Well, to be fair to them too, I don’t think many of them stayed behind. If I recall many of them are fighting off world currently. A skeleton crew was/is really all that was able to stay behind. Could be why the heretic numbers keep swelling.

But hey, I’m just an Ogryn. I JUST got my Bullgryn armor back after refusing to kill a friend, because I didn’t know he turned to chaos…so -shrug- .

We’re unsure of how things are going without outside of the Rejects’ Operations. From what we’ve seen they appear to be quite useless, but we’ve only really seen them on guard duty.

:fist::pensive: The archenemy claimed another one.

Considering how stupid they acted in the Carnival cutscene I don’t expect anything beyone incompetence from them.

Once again 40K Wagner Group strikes again (we’re prisoners who are somehow better fighters than the trained professional soldiers)

This is why I wish they were pdf units. Their incompetence would make far more sense, and even though they are unusually well equipped for a pdf, if Tertium is as important and rich as it appears and is stated it wouldn’t be out of the question to have a PDF formation with las weapons and Russ detachments.

With them being a Guard Regiment it kind of just makes them look bad, especially as the Moebians don’t even have any significant land vehicle support. Or at least if they do it’s weird we’ve seen 0 signs of it besides the Valkyries they have.

Typical of the Navis Imperialis (this post was made by the Astra Militarum gang)
