Maybe you don’t care about the details, but we do. You don’t need it doesn’t mean the other people won’t want it either.
You can get a differently coloured version of it in the commisary (dark green uniform, black flak), but it would be nice to get access to the inquisition colours like the NPCs have.

Tutorial Ogryn is rocking the cover armor, real mystery as to why we can’t get it.

Have the same question… The veteran armor on the cover looked so good, I expected it to be unlockable in-game but nearly 1 year further and it’s still not obtainable -_-
It’s everywhere… except where it needs to be… in the game…
For a further kick in the teeth, the armour is in the game files, can be worn by NPCs in cutscenes and bots, and it also shows up in the character creation class selection.
Only possibilities I can think of are:
A. Destined for the cash shop
B. For a penance which has yet to release
C. To be added to the Ordo Docket shop among other cosmetics, so it doesn’t only offer reskins
D. Cut content due to either technical reasons, or because GW said no for some reason.
Given the track record this game has, I’d wager it’s going into the cash shop once people forget it was in the promotional material.
Little hard to forget when they keep using it and other pieces of armor in NEW promotional material.
Was thinking maybe they’d release it on Warhammer day (october 14th) 
I think its not in the game to incentivize us to buy the mtx armors, to look cool.
Another reason for ”gatekeeping” content from us and make more money without costing anything for fatshark. I mean when do these predatory practices end?
There is no reason not have it in the game. Now they also have a DLC IN WORKS, even when the base game is lacking in quality. Especially looking at the botched krieg skins, I guess ”**** It and Ship it” has become the official motto in the fatshark leadership. Whoever decided to launch the game and impliment the predatory designs needs to resign.
Provide us with transparent communication on how you plan to address the current disparity between the PC community and Xbox.
Finally remove the FOMO and live up to the apology that you made when launching the game. Why do you attempt to destroy the community and make us even more distrustful about the future of the game. Remember its us veterans of the community who carried the game through the beta
Can we get some clarity and transparency on this @FatsharkCatfish ? I hope you actually have talk with the CMs about ”pearl clutching” and how not to be defensive. Its apparent on the steam forums that this issue has community in the uproar. At least give us the cover armor, fix the krieg skins and provide us the same amout of aquilas to restore some of our faith in your company. I will not give a single sent to your company now or in the future until we see some meaningful change in these practices.
Fatshark try to not do the opposite of what the community wants challenge (impossible)
To be fair, the “Community” is rather schizophrenic off their meds at times.
I’ve seen companies get less Nurgle poo for way bigger blunders. With Fatshark it feels like people rip into them no matter how small the slip-up.
On the other hand, they do make it rather tempting to get on their case. It’s so many small yet aggravating things, where you as a bystander say
“That should have been obvious, duh. What were they thinking?”
And a few big ones.
Along with, “they fixed that last time and it’s back” and “this was a lesson learnt previously but now forgotten” ad nauseam.
This. Fatshark should just release it. Its absence left a bad taste in my mouth.
